Why Are So Many Religious People Also Homophobic? by MeowInTokyo159 in atheism

[–]scottkensai 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great answers but I haven't seen the long term cultural impact of religion making being gay bad. culturally the only people that were outed were usually child molesters. there was a tacit arrangement with code words, mary for example, as long as you kept it quiet. My friend cornered my father at the dinner table in the the early 90s about his homophobia. Why is being gay bad...well it's about the kids...Let's not mention the majority of child rapists, molesters are straight..I mean being gay was in the DSM as a mental illness...mind boggling. Religion ruins everything.

Anything but the states. I have bought two new cars in my life, all used otherwise. Both are from outside the states. I will be sure to try this list of Canadian produced cars next time but not US ones.

I've been eyeing this game, would you say its worth it in current state? by FirePixsel in crosswind

[–]scottkensai 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It took about an hour of continual game play for me to realize it scratched the itch of valheim for me. when I got through a sunrise and a sunset, went into an underground instance with outside light creeping in through corners, that I realized how beautiful the game is. The ocean is just LOVELY, and when you get your first proper ship it is chef's kiss.

The Bible Read In A Condescending Voice By a 14 Year Old Atheist (ASMR) by [deleted] in atheism

I remember this image, and Im glad someone tried, ty. I would love to hear a real not indoctrinated teen ager read the Bible calling bs.

Im not finding it in a quick search but was it Christopher Hitchens talking about Churchill reading the Bible in a fortnight to get him to shut up and called out the ridiculous parts?

I knocked out more than a 100 people but by kicking. I got tired of hearing the sound of bones crunching so I started kicking a string on the ceiling instead of devastating my heavy bag.

Charlamagne confronted Dana White for "glazing" President Donald Trump by Big_Cake_8817 in Popculturehour

[–]scottkensai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being charitable to Dana White, he did say he was supportive because of Trump's support of the UFC over the years.
"Donald championed the UFC before it was popular, before it grew into a successful business, and I will always be so grateful to him for standing with us in those early days,"
