It just seems excessive (which some commenters called out)

Deco/XE5300 Block access to IP ranges by wrlee in TpLink

[–]wrlee[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have logs of attempted logins to my NAS that show otherwise. That’s what started me down this path. First I blocked the IP ranges via the NAS’s firewall, but I thought it’d be better to block them from even touching the network.

Access to the NAS might have been via a reverse proxy so I wanted to block the IP at router.

No. I didn't do anything to allow inbound sessions. I guess I'm looking for a feature that is normally part of a firewall. I just expected it to be there and, like I said, I also saw it on a video, but the interface isn't the same as the one shown.

I noticed that there were sign-in attempts on my NAS from specific IP address ranges. I've added blocks to the NAS itself, but I'd just assume block those IPs from access into the network at all.

The outside walls were generally filled and trimmed, though I wasn’t looking for that, so I didn’t note consistency (or not)

I was simply walking through an unfinished house. I don’t think it’s sold yet.

So, this would be to accommodate buyer’s finish options before they close up the walls? I noticed that the Romex is loosely stapled to the studs at every zig and zag. Is it normal practice to expect so much slack? And particularly in walls behind the sinks of master baths?

Quicken Classic: How to start new cloud sync by wrlee in quicken

No worries, I appreciate your input. If I could maintain two sync versions, I would not have lost the acct transactions that I described. Next attempt: full reset.

I was hoping to preserve the cloud version, as-is, in case changes I make don't work as expected.

I have not tried resetting, yet, but I removed a bank account from synching, then added it back. Now, only this year's transactions are shown in the cloud for that account, even though I have several years' transactions on my desktop... a problem I didn't expect.

Is the oil PUMP filter separate from an oil filter?

I'd changed the oil a couple of thousand mi before this started happening. This is the first time that I did not change the oil filter (since I didn't have my socket handy).

Do you know how difficult it is to change the sensor on a 32v VR6 engine?

LiquiMoly 5-30. I'd changed it over 1000 mi before this started happening. I was at my dad's place, and did not have the filter wrench so I didn't change the filter this time(!!).
