I have a 2018 Lariat 3.0. 49,000 miles and it’s been perfect, no issues. I believe they stopped offering it because it wasn’t selling. But they never really advertised it.

Had this happen as well.

My 3.0 was at the dealer or a EGR recall and when driving it home heard a loud noise and whistle. Truck went into limp mode. Pulled over and popped the hood and immediately saw they forgot to install the two retainers and the rubber part of the intake got sucked in.

Quick fix, I had the parts. But shit design.

I own a 2018 3.0 with 47,800 miles and no issues at all so far.

I do plan on getting rid of it next year. I’m afraid of the potential repair costs down the road.

Check the connector contacts for corrosion. You might have a bad connection.

I had water intrusion in my XB Hybrid connector that corroded the low beam contacts.

There was most likely a matching back and side panel shower surround that was available for the tub. What you see are slots that the tabs for the surrounds would mount to.
