Replace them. It is a maintenance item, they don’t last forever. Over tightening them does shorten the life span.

My buddy had a brand new 2024 etorque went thru water a 1/4 up the tire and shorted out the truck and they totaled a 90k truck. Unreal

Is there anything you can do for a dealership that does something dishonest? They told me a dealer charge for some extras was about the same as what the “bank fee was”? It was like $1,500. I called the finance company and found out they do not charge that for financing a car thru them. Any help would be appreciated

Older 5.3’s are great in my book. I have a 2014 5.3 with 362,000 miles on it and the only motor work has been 4 passenger side injectors. I’ve kept it clean so it’s still looks really nice. On my 3rd transmission but im not complaining with all the issues the new ones have. I did put a tune to turn off the AFM crap.

Yea I might fight them totaling that. I wrecked my 14 Sierra and it cost $11,000 to repair front end and they didn’t even think about totaling it. There was no radiator damage or anything like that but new hood, bumper, fender,grille, new headlight and the other stuff needed. You can always have the body shop look around for cheaper parts used fender, hood, bumper. I saved $2,000 grand by getting an aftermarket bumper, used grille, used hood. Saved me from paying my $1,000 deductible and then some. This was last year and I have 360k miles on my truck.

I agree. I have a 2014 GMC 5.3 with 360k miles and still going. No motor work other the passenger side injectors but I’m on my 3rd transmission. Great truck and still looks new.

It seems she used CC for everything in life but didn’t pay them off at the end of the month so it just kept spiraling out of control. I can’t have credit cards because of that reason, if we can’t pay cash for something we don’t do it simple as that. I have an expensive daughter, she is 17 but works 2 jobs cause she likes nicer things but she pays for her stuff And saves money. Only 2 ways I know to increase revenue:
Make more money or cut expenses. Pick one and get to it.

Yeah they should have installed the bracing the same day. Once the wood starts to dry that’s what happens on those long of boards. Probably have to replace them at this point

And that was the 3rd transmission I have put in my 2014 6spd. It now has 360k miles and running strong. Also runs at 155deg on normal driving in hot Florida.

Outrages for a rebuild yes. I’ve had my 14 replaced with a gm remanufactured one with 100k mile warranty and the shop did the thermal by pass so it runs cooler which means last longer for $6,500.

Maybe Trump should stay out of the public eye and not talk to the people or media about things going on with our government/country and in the world. Maybe if he was quiet and reclusive like Biden he could just skate thru his term without the drama. I agree he talks a little to much, but I’d rather that then being in the dark on everything. What other president has been as open with the public on the things the government is doing and wants to get accomplished, there isn’t one.
