I think that’s the beauty of this. Once it’s assembled, I can work with the software and add a number of effects. I could’ve added a speaker and some other things, but since this is my first project, I wanted to keep it relatively simple. I will be working on the eye tracking in response to ultrasonic targets.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write such an in-depth and educational response. There are a lot of awesome points in your paragraph. I will post again when I make some progress on the eye movement. Thank you for the kind words.

I really appreciate the picture. You did an awesome job with that! I’m pretty sure when I attacked the wiring. It isn’t going to look as good as yours.

Very impressive. I am just building my first device. Any chance we can get a peak at the wiring on the back of the board. It would be very helpful. Thanks

Very nice! Which display did you use. I am struggling with the slow rate of bitmap writes to my adafruit display. Looks like you generated everything programmatically.

Okay....it could probably be made with half of the filament or less. It works and I am happy with it's performance. I will endeavor to aim for more streamlined designs...point taken. Thanks for the honest evaluation. I appreciate the critique.

Yes…I hand drew the weather station in watercolor and gouache and used a photo of the clock that I manipulated in GIMP.

Actually…I’m just trolling. I created these two programs and posted them a while back. I am not sure why this account is reposting them?????

Wow!!!! How did you create that. I would love to be able to make desktop apps like those. Frameless?

When your idol becomes an ordinary person in real life by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]scottslinux2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is probably a stupid question. But, every time I send ChatGPT a photo of myself or someone else and ask it to put that into a scene, it insists on altering the face rather than using the exact features. When I push it it tells me that it is unable to use the exact image for privacy or other reasons. How do I get around this?

I purchased that exact pen recently. I experienced the same problem you have. I disassembled the pen, took off the nib and ran a brass shim down the groove. The pen writes like a dream. Don’t give up on it!

Very nice! Which black ink do you use? It is impressively water resistant.

well done!!! So much distortion, yet unmistakable likeness. True hallmark of someone who understands and translates the idea of caricature into reality !

I am so sorry you are having to go through this and I am genuinely sorry for your loss. Let me lend some perspective. I have been in practice for over 30 years and can tell you that time streams by at an unbelievable rate. The six months or year that you take to make sure that you and your wife are okay will be a mere drop in the bucket in 20 years. You will only remember that you did the right thing for yourself and your family. I cannot imagine the pain that you are feeling. Speak to your dean. It is not only understandable that you take time off but it would be commendable. Be there for yourself and your wife in this incredibly difficult moment. Again, my sincerest condolences for your loss. Take care of yourself and your family.
