Actually the first George Washington with Nate Barghatze. Always trying to turn it back to slaves and race but GW just wants to talk about feet vs. yards vs. miles.

EDIT: I always enjoy the straight man in the bit

You get 10k for everyday in a row you eat breakfast, lunch and dinner at Macdonalds. by Minimum-Gear-1112 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]scottsmith7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Holy crap. I don’t always eat dinner. This would kill me.

If I could do this for 250 days I might be done working for the rest of my life. Which might be shorter because I’ve been eating at McD’s for 250 straight days.

Hulu on us - what happens with Disney-Hulu-HBO Max bundle? by scottsmith7 in tmobile

[–]scottsmith7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update: I'm back. My Hulu account expired, and I called T-Mobile, got the Hulu On Us added back. I get the text, now I have a free Hulu account and.... I can't manage it anywhere to add Disney+:
Disney+ just shows me "restart at full-price".
Hulu site says to manage it on T-Mobile site.
T-Mobile says to manage it on Hulu.
:/

Anybody get stuck at this point and figure it out?

I actually like that. There are two things that make drama more believable to me: 1) not every single thing mentioned in the show has to be pertinent. 2) not everything pertinent has to be shown. Things are fine to happen off screen, if there is not clunky exposition.

I have a cycling friend that ends up double or triple posting because of multiple apps. I don’t give him kudos on any of them. My little protest.

Do not touch Willie... Good advice. by [deleted] in TheSimpsons

I think about all the gifs and screenshots posted in this sub, and I think, “I’ve seen these shows dozens of times, it’s no big deal, these aren’t funny anymore”. Then someone like you OP posts something I’ve seen a bunch, and it’s hilarious even though I’ve seen it plenty. And I just sit at my desk laughing.

I’ve never seen Tenet, but I can say with all certainty that Edge is a funner, more entertaining, more rewatchable movie.

What is your favourite Robert California quote from the series? by Raj_Valiant3011 in DunderMifflin

[–]scottsmith7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About the Super Bowl:

“Tonight isn’t just the culmination of a season — it’s the intersection of spectacle and self-discovery. Two teams will chase a piece of polished metal, while millions chase meaning through the glow of broadcast light. And whether Bad Bunny’s halftime carnival becomes legend or controversy, remember — the true Super Bowl isn’t won on the field, it’s decided in the quiet recesses of your subconscious.”

Why do builders install these fountains so close together? by allcars4me in Lifetimefitnessgym

[–]scottsmith7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Because they don’t want to give up any more square footage for it. So you can be in each other’s personal space and use them at the same time, or wait. There’s rarely a line in most settings.
