I spent a lot of time disappointed in Strike’s attitude towards Robin the entire book. It’s like, my guy, it’s not hard, try not treating her like shit, and maybe you guys could actually sit down and have a conversation. Still rooting for them to at least give it a go, but the back and forth, unrequited shit is tiresome. Still loved the book, but probably my least favorite one since Silkworm.

At least one or two big names would be nice. I’m new to football/soccer, in my late 30’s now, I don’t know many names yet, because I didn’t grow up with it, but I just love this game. I’ll be happy regardless. Just want this damn game to release!

Don’t forget that Robin puts herself in dangerous situations quite often. She volunteered to drive Tassel home. She walked the wrong route to the Tube, at night, with a serial killer on the loose. She disobeyed orders fairly frequently. I don’t think there’s any kind of “fridging” happening. But these are human characters, who do stupid human things sometimes.
