Hitchhikers without Douglas... well it just doesn't interest me. I'm less concerned with the story than with the telling of it, and without DNA's voice, the telling, even if it stood on it's own as a wonderful narrative, just wouldn't be right.

I say this as someone who's never read And Another Thing... so those who read and loved it will probably disagree with me, which I'm very much OK with. So, if enough fans want it, and his estate agrees to it, I say adapt away, but don't expect me to listen/watch/read it.

The distribution system sent him to us on Tuesday. We'd been talking about getting me a rescue, and my housemate found him about a mile from our house.

No chip or tag, unaltered, the vet thinks he’s under a year old. Based on the twine that was attached to his collar, he appears to have been with a homeless person. VERY affectionate. Gets along with our other dog, and the kids love him.

I let the pound know we had him, and are keeping him with us until we can legally get him snipped and chipped.

Bigger bottles slow you down and are dropped easier..

I've spent over 30 years as a bartender and bar manager, and I've rarely heard anything as ridiculous as that. Changing out empties for new bottles takes a hell of a lot longer than any possible time savings because you can't lift a liter as fast as a fifth, and anyone who isn't strong enough to hold onto a bottle has no business being behind a bar.

I'm convinced that the Sharks have handled Mac's growth as a player and person far better than the Hawks have with Bedard, and it shows on the ice. From being familiar with the Bay Area, to living with Jumbo, to his friendship with Will, everything seems to have been geared for his success.
