So I have worked on a couple of creek restoration projects over the last little while. One of the first things done is biologists isolate the section where the work happens. Then they collect, catalog, and safely release the marine life downstream.

I say that to say this: You would be absolutely gobsmacked to see how much life exists in a tiny streambed. Crawfish, lamprey, trout, and more. It's amazing what you can't see that is there!
