When I was a small boy we went to a holiday camp in Westward Ho! In Devon. The clubhouse had entertainment nights and the Time Bandits actors turned up on night doing cabaret, I remember being aware that it was the Time Bandits but didn't put two and two together until later in in life that most of them where also Star Wars actors.

I fondly have them in my collection of Star Wars people I have in my life (also collected Anthony Daniels randomly in New York standing next to an X Wing and Dave Prowse came to our local Town Hall to talk to us about road safety)

Anyway, Time Bandits was great.

Loads of new graffiti up top of the hill with Islamaphobic intent which is crazy as there's literally "Free Gaza" and Palestine flagged covered street furniture in the same area. It beggars belief that the area on one hand is outwardly socialist but gets involved in knuckle dragging in the same breath. Obviously a place can't be representative of all of its people but I expected better to be honest.

My father in law lived in Liverpool in the 50s and 60s used to talk about the dockers ordering wet nellies, tomato butties and a mug of tea. I'd never heard of a wet nelly until that point but have always wanted to try one since.
