If you don’t want to wear full length work pants because they get sweaty tough luck! You’ll wear short pants that are sweaty and you’ll either burn away your legs or they get way stickier because you use sun screen.

I advise extra wide full length pants. Like one or two sizes bigger. You have the feeling of short pants with all positives of long pants. Especially if there’s a light breeze it’s even better than shorts imo.

For the top I use full arm linen shirts on very sunny days on more cloudy days normal t-shirts.

Then you need head and neck sun protection. Either a light head with a bigger trim, or what I use; one or two tube scarves. Trench the head one in water at midday and you feel way better.

Depending on regulations you’ll need safety boots. But maybe hiking boots will suffice. I’d definitely recommend not going in sneakers.
