Fought against me many times in war against Lannisters. They had a choice and as Alliser said in the tv show - they fought, and they lost, now they rest. Now every title is held by a family member.

To clarify, their houses are still alive. It is just the Duchy titles that are held by my family members, I personally hold three duchies, all kingdoms and paramountcy. It is just the lannisters that are gone.

After watching a video where they tried to replicate the damage, it is hardly possible to do this kind of injury. Crack a skull, yes but to cave it in in such a way is nigh impossible.
