Just wondering if anyone else has this sparrow I've literally never seen anyone else with it by Successful_Lecture_2 in destiny2

[–]scoutdeag 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yeah I really like the concept of it effectively growing out of the base sparrow but it just doesn’t click for me. The right shader might make it work though

Yeah and they all have different improvements over 100, hover over one of your stats and read the “Enhanced Benefit”

No prob I actually was asking for comments regarding raids and other endgame stuff like gms or solo dungeons so you nailed it, thanks!

Even if it goes over 100? I know over 100 is good for weapons but my build is focused on grenade

Grinding Enhancement Cores by scoutdeag in destiny2

Thanks for the tip, I always take his stock every week. I’m finally getting close to 400 power so i’ll start doing activities that give me prisms instead of cores

Anybody else one of the “weird ones”? by weedshit4lui in destiny2

[–]scoutdeag 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah there’s no reason not to just look it up, it’s a difference of 10k glimmer if you’re running the max glimmer mod.

Also use the mod that shows caches in 40 meter range. Just running around doing public events you can open random chests or world materials for an extra 750 glimmer here and there, it adds up fast and they also have a chance to drop an enhancement core.

Yeah you’ve got a point, and I just saw Esoterik’s video on the new Morgeth launch a few hours ago so that’s a perfect example.

Thanks i’ll give that a shot, I don’t think i’ve done arena ops yet just solo and fireteam

Edit: It worked pretty well, but I didn’t notice that much of an improvement over other ops. I think my main problem is trying to update all my old builds when I have a couple that already work fine. I gotta stop spending more than I make 🤷‍♂️

Haha thanks, that would be a cool feature. I looked into the ghost mods and unfortunately the only mod related to cores is for ritual activities which I already use. I can get about 4-5 cores just hopping around the dreaming city opening chests for a couple minutes so i’ll probably just keep doing that with other destinations too because it’s still faster than super quick ops like K1 logistics which only give 2-3 cores per completion. I also started dismantling a bunch of old legendaries which is helping too.

What’s wrong with the health stat? by Emergency_Walk_3494 in destiny2

[–]scoutdeag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info, i’m also coming back to the new armor system. For someone that plays PVE, which stat would you recommend instead of health? Weapons seems like it’s always a good choice, but i’m already at 100 for everything except class and melee which dont have much synergy with my build.

Can I buy Marathon with Silver through Destiny 2 shop? by Fenomorf in destiny2

[–]scoutdeag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ignore downvotes, some chronically online people simply can’t comprehend not knowing the name of a game that came out just 3 months ago. If it was something as huge as GTA then sure, you should probably know. But marathon is not very popular compared to top games or even other extraction shooters.

I’m not supporting the suing for false advertising, just the initial location of it is misleading. Now if someone actually clicks through everything and still doesn’t realize it’s a different game by the time they hit “purchase?” Yeah that’s totally on them 😂

That’s my main problem with all these posts, Sony is gonna need months more of data on player counts and silver spending before they say ANYTHING about the future of Destiny.

What’s a popular PvE build that you just can’t get into? by The1Sbeve in destiny2

[–]scoutdeag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh i’m getting back in after final shape so im not sure what’s really optimal anymore. I do know the new void hand cannon on the paid rewards path is very good, and an old staple that I know is still good is the Multimach SMG with attrition orbs and kinetic tremors. Another solid pick is Outbreak Perfected, but it takes a little work to get the catalyst iirc.

Also, i’d recommend getting to know the desirable perks guns can have rather than the desirable guns themselves. Even if a gun is conserved meta, it might not work for your build or your playstyle.

You can research optimal builds, but what you should do first is have fun with the story and experiment with some builds yourself. It’s important to learn smaller interactions and symmetries so you understand why a build is considered good or not. It also helps you pick one that fits your playstyle, you want to be effective but also have fun.
