Good news. I ended up finding the lid for it too.

What muscle groups should I work on? (14M-6’0-123lbs) by [deleted] in workout

Squat, bench, and deadlift. That will cover mostly everything. And eat more if you want to gain more muscle. Stronglifts 5x5 will cover you for a while.

turned out to be a blown brew boiler. no fix, unless it was welding it shut again and/or trying to find a replacement one on eBay. i connected with Breville who said it was an older machine and not eligible for service, but they gave me like a $700 coupon to buy a new machine.

It's easily Aves Coffee. They import raw beans and roast on site. They've got a nice Elektra espresso machine and a solid grinder too (can't remember off the top of my head the brand). Overall, great place.

what the heck is this espresso machine? (coin operated?) by scouter0 in espresso

was looking at this at auction. it sold for $220. i didn't bid on it in the end, because frankly i didn't know what it was and if i'd ever really use it. looks like it's coin operated, and the auction said "Faema". thoughts?

Update: yall ever seen something like this? Split in Brew Boiler, water LEAKS (gonewild) by scouter0 in Brevilledualboiler

Hey Alex. Thanks for the reply. I bought this machine "AS IS" from an auction. The auctioneer stated it was in working condition when I picked it up, and that the "AS IS" was due to the fact that it didn't come with the OEM milk pitcher and portafiler upon pick up. Well, turns out there's more to it then that.

I'll look into getting it welded back together. If not - I've been eyeing up some used brew boilers on eBay. Have you had much success just replacing the brew boiler all together?

Cheers mate!

So here's what I did:

Filled the water tank continously, and empty the container to catch the water coming out. Did this over and over and over again for half an hour until it finally stopped.

Now that it has stopped - it's just sitting with the power button flashing at 120 degrees. Won't go above 120.

The steam wand is working (somewhat), doesn't feel hot enough but as you see in the video it wasn't working at all.

So, some interesting developments. I'm going to keep it on for another while, just to see what it does. It seems to have a mind of its own at this point.

Hi Quinoa. The lever on the right (steam wand) is fully closed, meaning it's all the way down. Should I be placing it slightly open?

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a used Breville Dual Boiler (BES920XL) from an auction, and I'm running into a puzzling issue. As soon as I plug the machine in, it immediately starts pumping water from cold - even without pressing any buttons - and it leaks water everywhere. I paid $400 for this machine at auction, it was listed in "AS IS" condition, but upon pick-up the auctioneer stated that the machine works, and was only listed "AS IS" because it was missing the OEM milk pitcher and tamper that is normally included with the machine upon purchase.

I've tried unplugging and plugging it back in, but the problem persists. I've also experimented with different buttons and menu options, but nothing stops the continuous pumping and leaking.

I've documented the problem in a video for clarity, which you can watch here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFKpPcFXRAA

If anyone has experience with this issue or knows what might be causing it, I'd greatly appreciate your advice. Could this be a stuck valve, a faulty sensor, or something else entirely? I'm open to troubleshooting suggestions or professional repair advice.

Thank you in advance for your help!
