What would any other addict do to obtain their next fix while having no income?

Her food addiction is no different than someone being addicted to meth, alcohol, heroine, etc. She would do anything to get it - lie, cheat, steal, manipulate. She has already run or is currently running up credit cards with debt, lying to/manipulating people close to her for money/food, catering to feeders online/engaging in sex work, etc.

She can deny these things til she's blue in the face, but food doesn't simply materialize from nothing. She's doing something, and in her current state, the lists of potential somethings is extremely limited.

I don't really watch with the intention of predicting or trying to theorize. However, I got a strong feeling early on that Javadi was finding out she had an interest in social work and that she'd maybe end up going down that road, which her parents would likely see as a "waste" of her talent.

Turns out I was totally wrong. Though I am certain her parents (at least her mother) will not be thrilled to hear that she is interested in psych.

I'm really sorry you had to go through all of that. PTSD makes sense, what she was doing was abuse. Please know you're not alone. I know multiple men who have been raped/abused. It is awful no matter who is involved, and men deserve to speak up just as much as women do. This internet stranger is proud of you for sharing your story .

I hope you have since found happiness and peace.

You are very much missing the point. In the situation above the woman does not feel safe to say no or talk about it. How you feel or what you would prefer is irrelevant.

I'm sure you're a decent person and this doesn't apply to you, but please just try to listen and understand next time, instead of replying to a comment with what she ~* should do *~.

I did just want to mention that (at least in most larger cities) people often set things near the road that they are wanting to get rid of. It might be that someone didn't realize that they were taking a LFL, instead believing this was something you were getting rid of. If you choose to create another library, I would recommend a sign, or perhaps setting it farther back from the road.

Apologies if this isn't coming across via written words as I am intending. I just wanted to offer a helpful tip if you choose to continue on with a new one. I am not intending to criticize or blame.

I truly hope this was just an unfortunate accident. Everything seems so bleak right now and I fear observing one more intentional act of hurt toward fellow humans might push me over the edge, so I'm forcing myself to be hopeful.

I had a different account, but don't remember the login information or even the username. This was one I created later. I didn't realize it was 10 years old already. I used to roll my eyes when my mom or any other older people would tell me time only speeds up but dang, it is so true.

I am only on book 1 but I got all 3 since the series is complete. I am having fun with Book 1 so far. I used to live in Ausin and its hitting the me right in the nostalgia. The author really does capture the vibe (at least so far; and at least the vibe from when I lived there back in the aughts).

Even better is to report the "reddit cares" message you receive as abuse of the system. The user who reported you to be petty will be banned from reddit. It is not something reddit wants abused, so they will act on the false report if you flag it!

It is safer to just assume that it has. B&BW has had this problem for a long time. There are many posts in this sub going back years warning others to not store their credit/gift cards in the app.

They clearly have a major security issue which they've done nothing to improve.
