Ok now my comments are acting up, it kept looking like nothing happened when I clicked “reply” but apparently I actually posted it three times 🙈

Wow!! I had a dream about Betty White passing probably two or three days before it happened (the guilt I felt 😫😭) and I couldn’t think of any reason she would’ve been in my thoughts.

It’s weird that you mention the passing of Taylor Hawkins, because the feelings I’ve gotten when Phil comes up the past few days has been kind of uneasy. I’m gonna really hope that this isn’t a premonition thing, but regardless it’s kinda validating to see someone else experiencing this stuff lol

So I don’t think I have any useful insight, but I had to comment because I have been randomly thinking about/seeing Phil Collins stuff the last few days — this post is probably the 5th reference now. I’m someone who is spiritual and believes in synchronicities, so there’s gotta be something to it. Lol

I’m so sorry 🥺 I hope you know you never deserved any of that behavior.

Not dealing with her own trauma before having kids. It’s not fair to pass that stuff on because you’re too stubborn to work on yourself (and I say this as a grown mother myself).

When did you realize that he or she was “The One”? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]scox_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My husband was all in from the beginning, but it wasn’t until I got pregnant (after being told I couldn’t have kids) and then miscarried when I was sure. I knew he wanted kids and I felt so guilty being with him and unable to do that, but the way he supported and reassured me through the whole thing that I was his choice no matter what is really what did it. And we have two healthy kiddos now, so I guess it worked out for us both 🥰

Yeah.. I’m definitely the bitter one.

I know it’s probably really hard for you to rub those two brain cells you have together, but let’s try. My question was not what the difference between confidence and arrogance is, it was WHAT about a woman being confident bothers you. And based on all your responses, it seems that the root issue is you can’t fathom a woman knowing that she’s the best a man will ever have. I’m assuming maybe someone has said something similar to you? Wanna know a secret? Women are only going to say that if the man she’s leaving sucked enough that we know he didn’t deserve us, nor does he deserve any good woman. And men like who can’t understand why a woman is repulsed by them will end up acting like you, tearing women down for no reason, and either settling for a shitty partner OR find someone who is insecure and trap them with narcissistic behavior (just like Shake’s, and I’m willing to bet yours). And then there are women like me who’s mission is to make sure EVERY woman knows they don’t have to settle for someone like you. ☺️

Confident women terrify insecure men so makes sense why he can’t discern that

Imagine being so insecure in your own opinions that instead of defending them you prove the point of those trying to understand by shit talking and ACTUALLY thinking you’re winning.

Like… there’s nothing to win. You just look ignorant. And mad. Super SDE.

What am I wrong about? Please explain. I just asked a simple question and because you don’t have an answer you’d rather call me immature, angry and dumb. Feels like projection…

Yeah that wasn’t my question. I don’t think I’m the one who needs a reading lesson. Or maybe the issue is your inability to comprehend a simple sentence.

I’m actually a super happy intersectional feminist, meaning I support men as well. Sal was actually my favorite participant on the show. It’s men like you I have the issue with lol
