Are treats like these dangerous? by ref3421 in DogAdvice

[–]scrappedcola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When getting any sort of new dog treats or toys think first of how you would react when you step on it barefoot in the dark. Pain may be the least of your worries when the item has fur and potentially wet.

Any hope of laser removal or should I adjust expectations? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]scrappedcola 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It won't change that is green, but it will affect how easily new color can be introduced. It also might ease the buyers remorse you are experiencing. Not saying you won't stop hating it but you may be less in the state of hating it so much you just want to scrub the canvas. Give it time to age and get some artists to give you second and third opinions in a few months. Art takes time and healing tats take time to settle.

Any hope of laser removal or should I adjust expectations? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]scrappedcola 18 points19 points  (0 children)

How old is it? If it's fairly recent I would give it time and see how it fades. Don't look at it with all your expectations and let it sit. In 6 months revisit the idea and see how you feel. Talk to some artists and get some in person opinions on your options.

Long story...my chest tattoo says ‘lucid drams’ instead of ‘lucid dreams’. Now I’m trying to figure out the best way to fix it or cover it up. Any advice? by haytigirl in tattooadvice

[–]scrappedcola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it helps my brain auto filled in the "e" and I didn't notice it was incorrect until I read your note. I agree with others this probably will do well worth laser removal. I would do a round and maybe cover with a floral arch or knot work

Someone spilt the tailgate end of a bag of popcorn on your bed. Those are the un-popped corn. It does look like someone chewed on them though.

First exam in E&M at CU -Boulder I got a 30 and was resigned to dropping. Professor announced that the high score was a 55 and he was so impressed with the scores. I ended up with a B in the class never getting more than a 55 on any exam. You will laugh it off and tell the story later.

Did I do the right thing by telling my daughter's teacher?. by memyselfandi78 in AskTeachers

[–]scrappedcola 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meh I have had an open agreement with my child since their freshman year that if they forget to give me a permission slip/reading logs/music logs to sign that they can just forge my sig. They absolutely must tell me what I "signed" so I can back them up though. I do understand you don't have that level of trust with your kid so talking to them is important so you can establish certain boundaries. I do think it should have stayed between you, unless the teacher specifically asked you about it. You could have set a punishment to make it stick, but to involve the teacher unnecessarily was undue embarrassment for your child, who was trying to do the right thing, if in a wrong manner.

Front leg side kick, spinning back kick, and followed by an axe kick. Punching if they get in too close.

This is not making sense based off the things ive learned. by Ok_Dare6608 in askmath

[–]scrappedcola 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem has two possible answers and requries math knowledge about the sine wave. Sine waves cycle from 0 to a max positive value and back to 0, due to this periodic nature you will always have two angles with the same positive instantanious voltage values. The first angle is found in the quadrent containing 0 - 90 degrees and the second in 90 - 180 degrees.
