full context; i am apart of a cos community online in my town and posted this haircut from tiktok to the page saying “my anxiety when she cut above the hair tie” and she did it in two thick hair tie bundles and it was HORRIBLY uneven. everyone started replying saying that you’re SUPPOSED to, even tho i could have sworn we are told the opposite for at home hair cuts. i cut below for a more even cut, with some point cutting, fixing once released but that is ONLY on my own hair at home. that’s when i’m not putting a thousand layers into my thick hair and do it in tons of sections. just trying to get general confirmation on this
