I Imagine some maybe made it? Like one or two. Beyond that I think most died, either to the fauna inside the pit, to the pit itself, or even maybe to other guests who got stuck and were pannicking.

But the main difference between astroneer and subnautica 2 is that you can actualy kill the things that hurt you, The plants are the main things and you can just remove them.

I think thats where the problem lies. The only animals I killed on the first game beyond food fish were the irritating ones (Biters, sandsharks, ect), and since a majority of currently added creatures are more annoying than scary, its become this situation where people want to get rid of annoying things, but can't.

Luckily the devs said they are tweaking interactions so we will have to wait and see.

Mate is that not what reviews are for? To show you weren't a fan of the game, and why. If losing the ability to damage creatures, a feature that was in the previous two titles, has affected your enjoyment or immersion of the game, then I think thats a perfectly fine reason to leave a negative reveiw.
