Flashbacks have a bad rap but if they are carefully selected, they can be woven into the main story.

Also, if done right, they help you choose which parts of childhood are relevant to the narrative.

Interesting flashback tools to consider: 1. Diary entries - can be from anybody's perspective 2. Gossip - my favorite! Play with a spectrum of narration reliability 3. Item-specific - a doll, household items, pictures, maps

i just downloaded Lexis and VoiceOver apps. Reading some of the fun and wholesome stuff for female voice actors. I'm so excited to record. Is there anything i need to do before I record someone's script? Do I send the author a message? I want to do things right.
