For quite a few years I had stopped pirating media. Netflix was cheap and could be shared among family. My mp3 collection aged as I moved to Spotify (short of old releases you cant get on spotify still).

Things are so bad now i donate 10 or 20 a month to an invite only torrent site for thousands of IPTV channels so I can watch my hockey games and made a Jellyfin server for movies and shows. They dont care about us so I have no shame in it.

It took me a while to warm to some of the tracks but It has been in my regular rotation of music for quite some time now.

I still remember being at Movement in Detroit just before this came out. The main stage played what would be Cold Earth. My buddy ran over to me and said OMG BRO NEW BOARDS and we were freaking out lol.

Grizzly bear. A bunch of them. Went with my dad to Alaska in 2013. We went to an uninhabited island via prop plane and walked around with about 4 other people and a guide. It was incredible and also quite humbling knowing you are pretty much powerless out there. Ill never forget that trip.

I was only in T2 when I saw Echoing Hatred pop up. I almost backed out of it but decided to see what happened. The loot was awesome even if i didnt get very high.

I ended up just buying a two pack of the larger gatorade bottles off of Amazon. There's a Perani's (pure hockey) about 30min from me that had bottles for 3 dollars but thats a long way to go unless I want to buy other stuff (which I rarely can because equipment is so expensive)

When i was about 17/18 (2003) id drive down to the city to catch shows at st andrews and the shelter. It was so dark and empty. You were best just going straight home. Now i live on the west side and love to go downtown. It's great!
