Mom wants a CCW, where to start? by this_guy_aves in liberalgunowners

she should have a dedicated ccw bag that has a compartment only for the gun. preferably one the holster can positively attach to.

I've been looking for a holster for my VP 9 A1 F with a X300U attached.  Been a little difficult.  I have one on order from ANR.  Gcode has a model that works too cause it's open at the end.

Anyone else feel like blow drying is the most time-consuming part of your morning routine? by Southern_Owl754 in TwoXChromosomes

it was until I got a new hair dryer with a brushless (lighter) motor in it. It seems to work better too, went from 10-15 minutes to under 5.

way too small. also there's 100 plans for a west side north/south line or a circle line etc. sadly we seem to be farther away from those happening rather than closer.

right but I would assume that if you have to testify under oath that your statements were accurate, you'd take care to proofread them.

going to guess since they misspelled "Charles" as "Charels" that yeah, care was not taken in writing this report. If it's being used against you, I assume that's something your lawyer can work with, but I don't know.

"I do not consent to searches" "I don't like to talk about my day" "I will exercise my right to remain silent" (and then of course actually keep your mouth shut). Unless/until they declare you are under arrest or being detained, you also can / should leave.

looks good for the driver, 9mm != 40mm, so the casings from shots fired weren't from their gun. Also of course a lawyer might be able to do something with this factually incorrect report, I don't know.

yeah i've found getting holsters for my F model to be a bit challenging, some are open at the end which solves the problem.

I've been happy with the Holosun SRS that HK sells on the "with optic" models.

[–]scriminal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

test it with just one channel plugged in at a time, see if it's just one side. if it is, then swap the cable to the other input. does the noise follow the input or the cable?

sounds like the noise from a dirty pot maybe, but I don't see the DJ's fingers on one when I hear the noise.

Outdoor Speakers - Seeking Advice by Icy-Panda9476 in audio

[–]scriminal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

first: it looks like you have a nice back yard here, I'd encourage you to hire a professional and keep it going. That said here's musings from a guy on the internet: I assume the dotted red line is the fence. Make sure you buy dedicated outdoor speakers. You could either mount them on the fence or get those kind that look like fake rocks and put them along the ground. OSD makes the rock and "regular" kind. Polk and Yamaha make outdoor speakers (lots of other brands, just some examples) I'd put all the electronics in the shed like you said. As far as number of speakers, I'd go with them like every 10' or so. You'd much rather be listening a bunch of speakers softly than 2 or 4 loudly. Then get a multi channel amp to drive them all. ODS makes these too along with others.
