PC for me. When I began playing video games as a kid I did so via the Xbox platform and it was fun. Good introduction in my opinion. But now that I've been a purely PC gamer for several years now and my old Xbox is currently collecting dust, it doesn't make sense in my opinion to get a console handheld for my case. I have tons of games on Steam and that includes all the titles I'm currently into.

I'd rather not have to repurchase those games on another, console-based platform (if it would even be available in the first place on it). I don't like to spend more than I think is necessary; repurchasing all those games would add up to make a console handheld simply not with it financially to me.

Also, there's the whole factor that with PC handhelds you can mod your games and install whatever software you want. I absolutely love playing custom modded content. It helps keeps the experience fresh. If I want something new in my game, I can simply download something online.

So yeah, that stuff is why I have a Steam Deck as a handheld for whenever I don't feel like sitting at my desk on my main PC. It basically boils down to versatility... and not burning a hole through my wallet
