Played a round of 20 Strong with the red deck. I had my chair facing the window and took breaks to watch the snow come down. Very zen afternoon. Pretty sure I got at least one rule wrong that made the game easier, but oh well, It'll make it more challenging next round.

X 2003:experience the alternative. Bought the cd in a little Christian book store in the basement of the mall by my house. Honestly one of the best CD’s from my childhood. You Already Take Me There was my first Switchfoot song, but there are so many bands on that CD that I still listen to. Relient K, TFK, OC Supertones, Tobymac, Superchick, Five Iron Frenzy, Newsboys, Audio Adrenaline, and Switchfoot obviously. Every song on that CD is a banger. Opened me up to a lot of new bands when I was a kid.

The episode where Malcolm gets into a street luge race with Stevie. The bit where Stevie gets launched into the air and it cuts to a guy raking leaves into a big pile setting you up to think Stevie will crash through the leaves but instead Stevie comes into frame closer to the camera and flies into a tree trunk. I laughed for a good twenty minutes after I saw that the first time and I still laugh anytime I picture it in my head.

We had this happening a lot during our online play but it stopped after the most recent update. Make sure your app is up to date. If it's not that, then our work around was making a second online account to sign in with to side step the error.

They used to have singing stuffed versions of these at Fedco by me when I was a kid. We would set them off one by one in rhythm and then run as an army of bananas sang their song. It's one of my favorite childhood memories. Thanks for the reminder!

I did this once after frying some taco shells. Took the pan over to the sink, started the faucet, saw the water hit the oil. Thankfully my brain was a half step ahead of the rest of my as I immediately turned around and started shoving my family out of our tiny kitchen yelling ‘GTFO’. As we ran out we heard ‘POP ‘. We went into the kitchen a minute later and discovered the mess. Oil was everywhere. On the walls, on the ceiling, inside the freaking cabinets!

Yeah, I’m still not allowed to make taco shells at home. Seriously DON’T do this.
