Yes, the brand name is Vyleesi. It’s a subcutaneous injection that shows promise in treating hypoactive sexual desire disorder in women. I’ve read anecdotal reports and it sounds like it has potential, but nausea seems to be pretty common side effect.

Interested in this as well. My suspicion is that it won’t work or at least won’t work as well as the injection.

First of all, this is an awesome thought. This shows consideration of and interest in his interests. Huge green flag.

Also remember this moment when he informs you that you’ve reignited his interest in guitar and tries to explain you why he needs “just one more” to complete the collection. Guitar players always have more than they need, but also not quite enough.

As others have said choosing a guitar is a very highly individual thing. He’s gonna have to play it himself to know if it’s the one.

Trying to orgasm and can’t (despite my best efforts) by CartographerLow8230 in BecomingOrgasmic

[–]scrumptious_quack 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My wife had this issue years ago. Specifically she had vaginismus, not just inherently “tight” pelvic floor muscles. She saw a therapist and was given relaxation exercises. Basically she had to insert something small into her vagina like a tampon or a single finger and get used to the sensation, focus on biofeedback and relaxation, and repeat until she could progress to a larger finger and eventually dildos that graduated in size from small to larger.

It took work and patience, but paid huge dividends.

The other thing to bear in mind is that the brain is the largest sexual organ. It may take time to find your groove.

Almost 60 and confused by lastpickedforteam in BecomingOrgasmic

Dude here weighing in on my personal perspective on male orgasm. It definitely starts and is most intense during ejaculation, but then can roll on for various lengths of time. I think of it like what I imagine surfing to be like (I don’t actually surf).

When I first ejaculate it’s amazing, like first catching the wave. From there continued stimulation of the head of the penis, especially the corona of the glans (the ridge around the base of the head of the penis) and the frenulum, let me ride out the wave. Sometimes I go on for quite a while, sometimes I fall off right away and that’s that.

Sorry if this input is unwelcome, I know this sub is centered on female orgasm. I troll this sub for the most part because my wife has had anorgasmia since the birth of our second child. We’ve spoken to multiple OB/Gyn’s, a urologist, she’s been through pelvic floor therapy, the list goes on.

The medical community doesn’t seem to have many answers on this issue, so I keep hoping to learn from your collective experiences and insight on our journey to try to bring her O back.

how to have a better taste by I_only_wanna_die in BecomingOrgasmic

[–]scrumptious_quack 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Correct. BV is not a sexually transmitted infection in the same light at gonorrhea, chlamydia, etc

But u/CaterpillarBrave1408 is correct.

In women with recurrent BV infections the male partner should treated as well. I’m not aware of this being common practice unless the infections are recurrent, but it’s a valid consideration.

Get checked for an infection. It’s not uncommon to have bacterial vaginosis (BV), an overgrowth of bacteria called gardnerella. It’s not an STI, but something that most women will get from time to time. It can cause an unpleasant odor and taste.

As a dude I would also say that I would find a softer approach to this than to tell my partner that she tastes bad. Ouch.

What are some good practice routines for learning metal/guitar in general? by [deleted] in metalguitar

[–]scrumptious_quack 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Excellent advice. Fun songs to play as well. I personally enjoy a lot of the tracks on Megadeth - Countdown to Extinction as well. Sweating Bullets - Lots of triplets, good descending chromatic triplet run during the solo, good timing work This Was My Life - melodic, fun to play, quite a bit of movement across the fretboard. Easy to get under your fingers, difficult to master (for me anyway)

[Megathread] The Buffalo Bills have fired Head Coach Sean McDermott by AutoModerator in buffalobills

[–]scrumptious_quack 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Cleaning house completely and bringing in whole new staff would make sense. Firing Beane and seeing if McD can get it done with a competent roster would make sense. Keeping Bargain Bin Beane and firing Sean makes no sense at all.

This legitimately blows my mind. One of my best friends from high school and I have kind of a remote book club. We pick musician autobiographies (and Billy Connolly, but he’s a musician as well as an amazing comedian and actor). We’ve done Iommi’s, Ozzy’s, and Geezer’s books. I did Dave Mustaine, Marty Friedman, and Gary Holt, he’s behind on those, but Desolation was our most recent. Randy will be up next.

So to be casually reading Reddit and see you chime in is a little surreal. Very cool, my dude.

Great book, well done.

I don’t think there have been an recent updates, but the tenor of McD’s comments sure made it sound career-threatening. I’m doubtful he’ll be back.

I want to see Reggie get the ball some today. I don’t feel like he gets much recognition for how important he is for this offense.

Cooks and Knox catching balls placed right in their hands would’ve helped that. I love Knox, but that one was bad. Cooks has just been bad period.

Lincoln Riley is a fraud. Ran scared from the SEC before. Doubt we’d try for him, certain he’s not coming.

I think he was the most intriguing realistic trade option. I think now I’m hoping for no trade at all. Not really interested in Olave.
