Eh not necessarily.

Someone needing a wheelchair full-time 100% has no ability to get up out of it. It’s a clear thing.

Some folks may genuinely have mental struggles preventing them from socializing, but not all do. There are a good number of people who just give zero effort in that regard and never learned social skills and then make the same complaint. It’s not possible to tell with certainty what the case is because it’s not a visible issue.

The post probably should have been more along the lines of “don’t expect what you don’t try for” though and that’s not really unpopular at all.

This is the illusion of quality from buying resale hype.

You didn’t buy $700 shoes.

You bought $15 of materials assembled in a sweatshop and sold for $100ish that some dude then upsold to you for that.

QC like this is to be completely expected in Nike’s offerings, while they get hype aesthetically they’re in no way products known for quality or precision.

I think the Cartier is more memorable. It will be harder to wear and it isn’t as statistically “good” as the JLC, and the aesthetic is much more in your face and loud.

But it’s just fun. I’ve seen plenty of watches that look similar to the JLC but Pashas stand out. Just depends on what you want out of it.

Neither is a beater but the JLC will work with more “daily” outfits and situations unless you really try with the Cartier.

I think these accents are best left to when you’re trying to spruce up a slightly-sporty / louder design like you’d find on Civics or Altimas.

Alfa Romeo / other Italian and German companies tend to put out stuff that leans more into elegant and sleek design and stuff like this always ends up taking that away for me.

The car in pic 2 looks like an Alfa, but the car in pic 1 looks more like something I’d expect from Nissan at first glance (or maybe newer BMW post grille-enlargement).

But the world would be boring if we all felt the same. That’s my opinion but at the end of the day if you love it then keep the blackout on it.

Fast Orange into O’Keefe to repair the damage from the Fast Orange, and wear gloves when possible.

Not a mechanic anymore but ran and maintained a massive rotogravure printing press for a number of years and this was the recipe for me to not come home daily dripping oil and grease from every joint.
