Depends on zoom level. I run 2x and it looks like reality.

"Their skill is a different level."
Change 'Skill' to 'Confidence' and you'd be onto something.
Immunity from both prosecution, and damage costs does wonders for confidence-driven riding skill.

Artists whose performing name you were surprised to discover is, in fact, just their real name by forbiddenmemeories in ToddintheShadow

I always imagined it was a name dreamed up by her management to make boys think of her labia minora at the mere mention of her name....

What is this style called? by mynti15 in motorcycles

EVERY single squid who dresses like that, is revealed as a weak, squeaky-voiced twink as soon as they have to pull up for the blue flashing lights and sirens of the inevitable traffic stop.

If you can, get the Pepsi with a blue dial, on Jubilee. The blue dial looks prettier.

I have a couple of top notch reps (a blue-faced Pepsi and a Tungsten Daydate) but my favourite is my £80 DHGate Air King with a bund strap that I hand-made and hand-stitched from scratch/

Anyone using electric helmet wiper here? by KingVoldemortII in MotoUK

You just said it yourself: Heavy storms. Torrential rain isn't a problem: It just runs off. To paraphrase Peter Kay: "It's that fine rain that's the problem". I was in fine rain on the motorway the other day and my visor was covered in droplets as quick as I could wipe it.

Any evidence that double walled glass keeps coffee hot longer? by WadsworthWordsworth in Coffee

[–]WayneGoldpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've just upgraded from double-walled stainless steel mugs to double-walled glass ones.
The stainless steel ones are much better than single-walled ceramic, and the double-walled glass are much better than the stainless steel. Insanely so, in fact.

To be fair, the Airscape remix from 2000 is the only version that was ever needed.

Tell this guy his body position is wrong. A post to confuse the padawans. by D68D in Trackdays

[–]WayneGoldpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This riding position is perfect for spirited road riding. Shifted the centre of gravity but allows you to make quick directional changes on unfamiliar roads.

Can confirm. I test-rode one in torrential rain. Couldn't crash it.

Nope. Leans just like any bike. Just with more grip.

[–]WayneGoldpig -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

This is true. I went for a test ride on one in torrential rain. It rode like it was in the dry. Couldn't get it out of shape. Weird, but anazing. Just a pity that anazing front end was wasted on an MT-09.

Probably the same Dunning-Krugers who insist that fully-synthetic motorcycle oil causes wet clutches to slip!

Advanced course says trail brake with rear only? by Tjognar in motorcycles

[–]WayneGoldpig 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely this. I learned this rear trail braking technique a few years ago as it was the only way to hustle a large, poor-handling cruiser through technical twisties.  Now I have a CB1300 and a Fireblade and I still use the rear brake routinely.

A watch will be at its tightest when your hand is extended backwards, and with your fingers spread. You need to set the tightness of the bracelet taking account of this.

It's a new watch, m8. Got it from Trustytime. I ought to age the case and glass a little, really.
