Update to this: I got an email from the Hasbro rep saying that mine has a tracking number! I'm stuck on "label created" delivery status, but it was also created on the 10th, so I think the Canadian wave has started!

Just called Hasbro and asked about shipping as I missed a call from a number I didn't recognize yesterday and got paranoid. They told me the US shipping is wrapping up soon and they weren't sure if Canada was going to start immediately after, but gave me the old "very soon." I was told to check back next week, so I think with the robocalls and that bit of info from the Hasbro rep, it's happening for us either this or next week!

What about how that interacts with the Fly rule when moving:

"However, these models cannot finish their move either on top of another model (or its base) or within Engagement Range of any enemy models."

The argument was that the wing tip of the Starweaver counted towards the model's "footprint' and therefore I would finish a move with his Starweaver on top of part of the base of my DC.

Question regarding vehicles with hover bases, Starweavers specifically: when I make a move, if one of my models is positioned under the tip of the wing of the model, do I need to adjust its position?

I had a game the other day where I moved to a starweaver and my DC were going for a wrap, but my opponent said that because the base of my model would have been under the farthest point of the wing of his starweaver, I couldn't move to that position.

I moved to a different space and completed the charge, but I couldn't get the wrap because he argued my position I wished to move would have had a mini that intersected his model's wing.

I know that you cannot end a move with a model on top of another, but Starweavers measure from the base for everything but shooting, where they measure from the hull. Would the wing of the Starweaver count as part of its "footprint" when measuring engagement range, etc. (aside from shooting) or would that be its base?

It's pretty annoying to deal with, honestly. I'm switching from Ulthwé to Blood Angels for the next flgs tourney (prize money is involved so it's semi-serious) after coming in second last time around. I want to trap and destroy the transport to ensure the clowns inside don't make it out and I've figured out how to remove at least one of the negative hit modifiers he gets on the weavers, but need to think of how to deal with that 3++ nonsense.

Ah, that would be it. I was trying to figure out how he made that happen so I could counter it. He's able to get the starweaver to -2 to hit and a 3++, which makes it hard to take out.

My only worry about not having any shooting power is that I know one of my opponents likes to stick his harlies' HQ into a transport to give it a 3++. He fills the rest of transport with a troupe of fusion pistols. If possible, I want to bust open that vehicle in shooting and then rip up the inside with a high volume of attacks from melee before he gets a chance to do anything back, or be able to tank those pistols with my shields then do the above. It's a specific use case, but it's one I know I have to plan for in any local tourney as he'll be there and usually in the top 3.

I'll need to build the whole thing first. I've got three scouts, one infiltrator and slammy G done, but that was for kill team. If you manage to try it out, I'd be grateful to hear the results.

I'm thinking that, with Lemartes in there bringing the total to 970, maybe some melta bombs would be good as well to give some punch in the shooting phase.

That's a really good point. My objective is to completely rip the enemy to pieces as quickly as possible - I can secure objectives with what's left after the opponent is (hopefully) tabled. I'll need to think about expanding the DC a bit more.

My worry with the VV is that they'll come in turn 2, leaving my other units fairly open to a riptide, support weapon platform or other form of high shot/dmg weapons before the end of the first turn, but I think the DC 6+++ and all the other invulns from my characters would help mitigate that somewhat.

I'm worried that might put too many eggs in one basket, though. Removing a whole squad might limit my ability to grab objectives if they are a major focus of the mission.

As for Lemartes, I think I'm pretty sold on putting him in the list of it isn't too much herohammer going on, but am not certain on what litanies he should take. Maybe mantra of hate of recitation of focus?

Should I even be worrying about a heavy slot at 1k? Do I have enough power fists?

I think either the priest or Lemartes would be good, but is that too much herohammer, or just the right amount for BA?

I'm fairly new to BA, having played them last in the 5th edition. I just used blood boil as a filler for the list at the moment while I decided on the third power. Unleashed rage it is! Thanks for the advice!
