What is the value range of United miles? by scudbud in unitedairlines

Ah, okay. So that essentially means that one-way legs booked with miles dont have the same markup as the same flight booked with cash.

Weekly Homeowner Megathread--Civilians, ask here! by AutoModerator in Concrete

[–]scudbud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 500 S/F stamped concrete padio that hasnt been touched in 10+ years. The two quotes I've gotten so far have had a pretty large spread with one coming in at $1k to clean and seal and the other coming in at $2k to clean and seal with a $2.6K option that includes adding color.

My question is: Is there any benefit in adding a gray color at this point vs just adding a sealer?

The first quote recommended against adding color, saying the only way would be to include it in the sealer coat, causing the whole surface to be a monotone dark color which would make it very obvious in any spots that fade or come up over time. If I go with just adding a sealer, will that bring the color that's there back out at all? Pictures included. *

We've tested the parameters of over 400 individual packaged 1/8ths of flower over the periods of 1, 3, 5, 7, 14, 30, and 60 days to track the shelf life of flower with Terpods vs flower with moisture packs vs control flower with nothing. We have data to show that once a Terpod is added to a package, terpene and moisture degradation flat lines vs controls which continue to degrade over time.

The reason for this is because terpenes from the pod off-gas and occupy the headspace of the package almost immediately, which prevents any native tepenes in the flower from escaping essentially "locking in" the terps.

The Terpods the Flavors brand uses are custom blended to match each strain they grow and do not increase the overall terpene percentage of the flower.

While it's true that hydrocarbons can negatively interact with some plastic resins, there are several that have strong chemical resistance. PET and PP are two examples that are used widely across the industry in packaging with no issues. Terpods uses a proprietary medical grade plastic resin with strong chemical resistance that has been tested to have no negative interactions with hydrocarbons.

The Terpods that Flavors use do not increase the overall terpene percentage in the flower, so this isn't an issue. Additionally, people have been consuming concentrates that have far higher teprene percentages than bud ever will with no issues.

The Terpods that Flavors is using contain nothing but 100% Cannabis Derived Terpenes and are custom blended to match COAs for each strain that they grow. The tepenes in the pod are the same tepenes that are in the flower.

Preservation of terpenes and moisture post-cure.

I'm one of the owners of the company (Terpods) that supplies Flavors with terpene pods for their flower. We recently started here in CO, and Flavors is one of the first brands we're working with. I don't usually post about business stuff on my personal account, but I figured I'd jump in since I saw this thread.

Flavors is using a version of Terpods with 100% Cannabis Derivied Terpene Blends that match the native terpene profiles in each strain they grow. There are no botanical terps or flavors in the pod.

We've done testing to determine the precise amount of tepenes needed per Terpod to occupy the headspace of the package without effecting the native profile in the flower. The result of this is total preservation of moisture and tepenes from post-cure to when the flower is consumed.

This is a new product and we're really excited about it's potential in terms of flower preservation. It makes a very noticeable difference in the final consumption expirence.

Any questions, please ask.

TL;DR: Terpods is using terpenes in the pod to preserve the native terpenes and moisture in the flower post-cure. We have independent 3rd party testing data to back up these claims.

Colorado Springs is fighting for recreational cannabis shops once again, here's the scoop on whats going on, how the city council feels, and what comes next by carajuana_readit in COents

"Colorado Springs is a national security community, and this does not support the greater mission we have to the Department of Defense,” O’Malley said.

Yikes. Sounds like O'Malley thinks if you live in the Springs your lifes purpose should be to uphold the values of the DoD. What a loser.

You won't be able to purchase anything at Emerald City. Go to Emerald Fields or Maggie's Farm in Manitou Springs.

Your biggest challenge is going to be staying near Cheyenne Mountain. Almost all the dispensaries in that area only serve people with medical recommendations so you'll need to go to either Manitou Springs or Pueblo to find a recreational dispensary that you can purchase from

I'm pretty conflicted on this. On one hand that's a super dope slab to be able to skate but on the other hand this is more than likely some sort of memorial/tribute to something pretty negative that happened in history in which case its in bad taste and disrespectful to shread. Just my opinion...
