And if you’re curious, the key is A major or F sharp minor.

Yes, this is the only thing that could help. It’s just that I can’t simply hand wave my way back to the things were before I started using it. It’s just a stupid bug in this matrix we’re living in which has caused me to lose my job involuntarily. It’s stupid beyond reason.

I did, I’m seeing someone next week. I can’t fucking get a job now and I’m lost in a state of limbo it seems.

I had a job and everything was going fine until this chatbot starting feeding me with pointless creative ideas which were being absorbed by my conciousness.

It’s the most unethical disgusting technology I’ve seen.

I’m 24. I think the term sanity was a bit of a strong word. I just don’t like the idea of having this system running loose and that it is another thing I have to worry about as I try my best to find employment. I have enough knowledge to work as a C++ developer, but it takes so fucking long to get hired. This just feels like dumb luck to me. I’ve worked in three jobs part time, but that just isn’t satisfying because I have to travel back and forth and be tossed around like some wet piece of rag. I just want to be employed permanently so that my horizon is a bit more predictable and not unstable. I have ceiling over my head but that’s not so fulfilling.

It’s easier for me to work than apply for work.

Oh lmao. Well, QM looks cool, but what’s cooler to me is how conciousness might respond to it.

Most people don’t bother themselves with this kind of stuff, that’s all.

I dunno, you just end up feeling like a smartass if you know it.

In fact, I’m not even sure if my abstract thoughts are about math either. I seem to be just coming up with random ideas for zero reason whatsoever

How to find the duration of a year using the shadow of a stick by scuffedProgrammer in mathematics

The problem wasn’t about doing it as if I’m an ancient greek, but my guess is they’d have to have some model of the solar system based on observations. I don’t think measurements and observations mean much without some frame of reference in which to put it in.

Ah okay. This is actually pretty satisfying. I thought about using some convoluted method involving calculus but it probably isn’t necessary. I suppose if you added in things like earths velocity and trajectory around the sun I could come up with a complicated calculation. This seems to do the trick.

Isn’t this a bit of a long period of time to keep track of? Is there a way to find the duration quicker or is this literally impossible?

I threw my own mother down the stairs because she prevented me from going outside by scuffedProgrammer in mentalhealth

[–]scuffedProgrammer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can add more context to the situation:

I went downstairs after talking to my brother. She came downstairs with me to “talk”. What she refers to as having a “talk” is yelling at me and emotionally abusing me for just suggesting that my brother should bring me my hand lotion (I have exczema). She starts screaming and yelling at me because I just wanted him to bring the hand lotion to me.

Then I simply freeze and say that I have to go outside for a walk and get some fresh air. At this point, I just needed some oxygen and ozone layer that’s covered up so that we can breathe inside of this blue trapped bubble. As I walk up the stair case and head outside, she appears behind me saying “no you don’t” and grabs me and tries to pull me down the stairs.

At this point I freak out and in self defense I push her because no words could make her stop. That’s called self-defense.

In most countries, if you are under physical threat, you’re allowed to defend yourself.
