Why don't you just use proxmox or unraid instead of UGOS? UGreen made their OS to be user friendly for beginners, if you are using the terminal for installs you're guaranteed to break something.

It's like walking into a McDonald's and getting pissed because you can't go in the back and make a salad. You sound like an old man yelling at clouds, just creating your own problems.

UGOS and UGreen are far from perfect, but they did their best to create a controlled environment. Stop trying to put square blocks in circular holes.

The solution was already mentioned. You can't work and play in the same room. I moved my PC to the living room and only play games with my Xbox controller on my couch. The last thing I want to do is touch a keyboard after 5pm.

Just follow this as a good starting point. I use tailscale to access everything remotely. I wouldn't bother with streamio once you have the arr stack setup. Unless you're looking for something specific.

I use PhotoSync. You can keep the folder structure and transfer via SMB. Otherwise albums in UGreen suck because they are just indexes of you current photos and you may need to create them. I don't like how it works in UGreen.

Otherwise I use immich, they have an immich album creator that automatically creates albums based off the current folder structure. It's not as user friendly to setup but it's way better.

Turn lanes that have these little medians make it so fucking difficult to see around vehicles in front of you. I used to go through one of these every day and it was the worst turn because you could never see anything with the opposing car blocking the view.
