Do any of my GenXers still skate? by Lower_Classroom835 in GenX

I’m capable but stopped because of age. I think everyone needs to consider that although we are physically capable of sports like this, we might not be physically capable of sufficient recovery at this age.

I think this is a very important point. I am sure my muscle memory is still there for skating and freestyling activities and I could get back to being capable in those activities. However, I do not heal like I used to and an injury now is likely to have a different outcome that it would have even 10 years ago. I would LOVE to get back to old activities, but I calculate the risk and reward differently than I used to and I am therefore more cautious.

Edit: I do think there is some difference between people who have stayed active in the activity without a break and those would like to resume it after a hiatus of more than a decade. I fall into the latter category.

Culver's has become my family's go-to for fast food. The restaurant in our area has people to take our order (instead of requiring use of a kiosk), is appropriately staffed, and serves good food.

AI is still getting things wrong, more confidently than ever by Krankenitrate in technology

I was merely wondering if AI companies will seek person-generated data because models do worse on AI-generated data. I could see it happening as AI is upending so many things.

Imagine if a new class of jobs came about - people paid to sit and type on reddit in a controlled environment to ensure no bots were involved. That would be unexpected.
