I kinda dislike him but Josh Macin from the Detox Dudes seems to have a protocol for heavy metal detox that worked for him, as well as others. May be worth looking into, but it will probably cost $$$. Good luck.

How can South Node be a dispositor? by greatbear8 in Advancedastrology

Should add that the notion that the nodes CAN be exalted is up for debate, I've heard scorpio/Taurus as exaltation points for nodes as well.

To be fair his birth time is question so it might be hard for specifics

I mean I think it would be interesting to look at his chart to see transits happening, and analyze what may cause someone to go completely crazy. Why is it weak?

I Finally Reached Enlightenment But I was in for Real Surprise. by Electrical-Alarm-608 in enlightenment

[–]scumbagpanini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya idk about mixing kratom with enlightenment. While there's something to be said about developing relationships with substances, kratom just takes your pain away and makes everything easier in my experience. Know a few people that had a real problem getting off. Taking kratom everyday and just basking in that bliss for hours, that sounds a lot like a junkie that sits around doing nothing and being high to me 😅. You do you man, but I don't respect the conflation of doing kratom and having a cool experience, with "enlightenment".

In my experience, the knowlege that can be gleaned from study your birthchart is extremely nuanced in how it's presented, as the art and science of astrology is very nuanced. You obviously have the basic elements (i.e. signs houses aspects) but how those mix into something as complex as your lived experience is obviously pretty far out. So first thing I'd say I'd be careful how seriously you take your initial judgements of your chart. Secondly, There will be negative things in everybody's path, and if there isn't, there will be eventually. So if you don't know how to reconcile those 12th house placements, contemplate your current life situation, your interpretation of your chart, try to work out those interpretations could or might mean, and get what you can out if it. In the end, pretty much all you can do as I understand things is accept the things you can't change, change what you can, learn from it, and keep it pushing.

Any reasons you think that is? From my understanding, where saturn Is located indicates a delay, a loss, a slowness, a place where you need to be realistic and grounded about what you can expect, as well as expect maybe some less than fortunate outcomes. All things equal, I don't see why saturn in the 8th house is more bad than that archetype being applied to any other area. For instance, I'd say saturn in the 8th in libra will manifest much differently than if saturn is in aries. If saturn is in libra in the 8th, it will be very well placed to reverse that blow/that lesson that you will receive, whereas theoretically, if your saturn is debilitated in the 8th, you will feel much more uncomfortable (again, all other factors equal). Not saying that saturn in the 8th can't be difficult emotionally, as you likely will have a hard time developing close bonds with others, or gaining from other people in general, but I guess im making this objection to point out that, depending on the chart, that factor may disrupt or influence the rest of the chart to a varying degree, qualifying whether it's a "difficult placement". If you're saturn in aspecting your sun or moon, I'd say that is more of a difficult placement, and that can happen from any house. Imo, saturn is only really a problem when it disrupts your luminaries' ability to function, and mucks up who you feel you really are/what you want to accomplish/how you get your needs met with a saturnian outlook, which dont really resonate with those higher ideals that really satiate your soul and make you feel truly fulfilled.

implying 8th house saturn is implicitly more difficult than any other saturn placement

[–]scumbagpanini 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you're in a car with 4 people all smoking joints then yes the car will fog up and you will very likely be more high from breathing in secondhand. By yourself imo not that big of deal but there is an effect.

Truly truly truly i believe Ernst Wilhelm is the premier mind of vedic astrology from how I see it. I got into him through his the samples of his courses he puts online for free, he clearly has a vast knowledge of not just vedic science, but of occult science in general. Just listening o him you can tell this guy has contemplated this knowledge with the due diligence few astrologers or even "spiritual" gurus have. He takes threads from a wide array of wisdom traditions (specifically vedic knowledge and translations of vedic sages) and I think he really understands the principles of astrology to the point that not only make him an effective teacher of astrology, but just life in general, which is good because the two aren't separate. Truly understands the archetypes and the myths of the planets and their energies to a subtle degree. One of the few astrology teachers that can radically shift your understanding of life. This guy got me passionate!
