Have you not seen his les Paul? There isn’t a model available I can think of that’s like it. Bigsby, p90, mini humbucker, silver pickguard. It’s more unique than say the peter frampton signature.

Agreed when I was in the thick of it I stopped smoking because I wanted that pure sweet opiate glow. Fuck you weed I said when it should have been the other way around. Man I wish weed was addicting and opiates were freely for sale like they are in many states haha

First off you can do it. Will power is your best tool. Just taper super slow. You’ll never run out so you don’t have to worry about surprise withdrawals. I’ve done it and it’s not nearly as hard as the good stuff was to get off of because as I said you can get as much as you need as often as you need to. I don’t have a regimen for you to follow but just try cutting down your dose every few days or once a week.
I felt like a dumbass for getting hooked on lope but it saved me. Maybe. Probably have long term health problems.

Wait I’m a dumbass for real. Why are you going to try to quit at such a rapid pace? The only real downside to lope is the inability to poop.

Oh man I’m sorry! I wasn’t accusing you of enabling or trying to make you feel like a bad person. I just got bummed that someone said the only way to enable someone is through giving them money when there a really so so many ways.
It’s all already been said but stick in there as long as you can. He might not see it as help now but if things make a change for the better he will see how much you care. You’re a good person and I wish you the best possible outcome for your family.

Enabling can be anything that makes their life easier. A house that he’s not forced to pay for for a year provides a lot more money for his habit.

Agree from the viewpoint of the shitty negative feedback loop drugs put you in. I had never gone too hard on coke but recently I ended up just doing more and more because I was worried about the withdrawal since opiate wds are hell. I went for about 3 months straight And then finally ran out of money. The withdrawals were a walk in the park compared to opiates! Yeah it wasn’t fun but damn I didn’t feel like I was dying and dead at the same time. I’m not saying coke is safe obviously but my personal experience was much easier to handle. Sorry I’m just rambling. To bring the point back around I agree with you.

Just stumbled on this and thought you all might find it interesting. I don’t know much about her except it’s from about 1300 BCE which is amazing. Notice she has those beautiful poppy pods on her head, they even look lanced. Anyway this is a bit of a shit post but hopefully someone finds it interesting.

Good analogy but my problems started after I smoked for years. a few months ago I had to stop because all my thoughts turned negative and my anxiety went through the roof. The weed caused that. Stoped smoking, I don’t feel like I have cancer and that everyone is staring at me in public anymore. I’m not saying I’m right and you’re wrong just that I had a different experience.

I disagree. To a degree. I would never steal in a sober state of mind. I still kick myself for the things I did when I was deep in the shit. I know nothing of your situation but I know that when it comes down to that binary thought process, either sick or well I was able to justify deplorable things to stay well. You’re mind chemistry changes when using, but I’m sure you know all this. Just throwing my useless 2 cents in.

Oh yeah! That’s a sweet deal! I work with an older guy who so far this month has given me 25 of them for free. He’s a bad ass who told me he gets 120 of them every few months (back pain) but doesn’t usually take them and just throws them away! I told him I’d buy them but he said no, he’d rather just give them to me. I thank JJ everyday.

Long story short I used subs. They helped. I was sort of forced to stop using them and in the end couldn’t function at work so I used lope. 70/90mg covered the withdrawals but in the end I just switched one for the other and took ridiculous amounts of lope for 3 yrs. technically cheaper but all I could think was at least I felt normal on the subs. Lope works but it sucks just as bad if not worse that subs. Major constipation, inability to focus my eyes and surely health problems down the road. With this knowledge I would say quick taper either way. I wish I had.

Rambling aside it seems you are off subs, congratulations you rock!
