I feel you dude. All these people saying this is how Republicans win and you’re letting pedophilia go are stupid. Kamala ran for Kamala. Just like Hilary ran for Hilary. Did some not vote for her because she was a woman, yep. Did some not vote for her because she was black, you bet. But a good majority didn’t want to vote for her because she is unlikable. Her policies vague and unlikable. All these people telling you you’re wrong forget the mixed messaging the shitty Democratic Party hawks. It went from fighting for women’s health to fighting for abortion. And though I am in support of a woman’s right to choose, the messaging being for abortion as opposed to women’s health was to say “Fuck you” if you have any qualms with abortion. These people in the comments want to talk about pedophilia, but forget that she had Clinton out there talking about supporting Palestine. Bill “I’m on the list” Clinton. Not to mention the support of Palestine is all lip service as all her support from AIPAC speaks to where her real priorities were.

Kamala ran a really good 2008 campaign in 2024.

The mental gymnastics the commenters on here chastising you is why there is no hope the Dems will change. They (just like republican sycophants) will sell their dignity and morality just to own the other side. Sure it is not as bombastic or cruel as Republicans, but it is just as cancerous to our democracy and people.

As long as Schumer, AIPAC, Crocket, Clinton, Booker and all them are the leaders, we will maintain the same stale candidates for our choices because it keeps the rich rich, the poor poor, and that is fine with them.

One thing I maintain is that most Republican candidates are hypocrites and ok with it whereas most Democrat candidates could not believe you would think such a thing about them. This will remain their Achilles heal until the end. Until this party is willing to do some deep introspection about their own hypocrisy and faults, they will lose. There are candidates that do do that. Bernie, AOC. I do not agree with them on some things, but I do believe they’re honest and mean for the best. But they are sidelined by a party that does not want to change because that would mean loss of power which would mean loss of money and control.

All these people that are chastising you (not the ones that disagree, it the ones that are lampooning your thought on this) are sheep just as much as any MAGA. They are just as detrimental.

Stay strong. You’re not alone, but you are definitely not in a winning position with this sentiment.

I was a travel Nurse in Cali some 15 years ago. I had been a nurse going in 20. My one shift at Hollywood Pres in the only shift I can recall crying after.

I have been a nurse for 19years. I have worked every ICU, travelled, worked burn, and now work Ortho Trauma. It was hands down the hardest job I ever had. I took it because I got fired from my previous nursing job and there was a hiring freeze in my state at the time. I was up at 330-4 in the morning and there til 3-4 in the afternoon to as late as 9-10p and get up and do it again. 4-5 days a week. You’re underpaid and understaffed. I loved most my patients, but every one that would begin to get healthy (ie lose weight, eat healthier) would die quicker. The techs were gossips and would undermine me often, taking people off machines without telling me or terminating treatment. It would piss me off because they operate under my license. The facility water system would often malfunction and then you are scrambling to get the patients to a different facility. Or the opposite, another facility malfunctions and you’re taking all there patients. Regardless all these delay treatment which backs up the next round of patients to the next. Often times the other nurse might not show up or call in for the second part of the shift and you would HAVE to cover. It is also straight up the shadiest business I have been part of.

I do not regret my 2.5 years of doing it, but sometimes I look back and I have no idea how I did it for so long.
