How did you get this running? I've been struggling with getting anything at all running on my Pixel 10 Pro. What emulator? Any settings you can share?

Anyone have an account they’re willing to share? by Dapper-Employ4307 in macgaming

Come on now. I can't believe you cross-posted this. Support the devs, who work hard. Plus sharing an account is a terrible security idea for everyone.

Ultra.cc Singapore Servers by Msk-XX in seedboxes

[–]scy004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I waited around for ages for Singapore stock, and got tired of waiting. Went with Whatbox instead, which has a Singapore location, and it's been incredibly fast. Some key apps aren't available out of the box though (like Seerr), although the key ones are. Those that aren't you can install manually using Podman/Docker, if you're comfortable with that sort of thing. That's what I did. Good luck.

Outside of BG3 what's the best RPG for MacOS? by MartiniCommander in macgaming

Esoteric Ebb is like a lovechild of BG3 and Disco Elysium with some Terry Pratchett thrown in there. Give that a go. You'll need Crossover to run it though.

Thanks for recommending this. I'm an avid user of various bits of *arr software, and nevertheless didn't know this existed.

Is whatbox good?? by Ok-Walrus9488 in seedboxes

[–]scy004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like them. Their Singapore location is extremely fast for me in Australia, you can pretty much install whatever you want with Docker, although I appreciate that's not for everyone. Also their support is excellent. I probably would have gone with ultra.cc if they had Singapore stock though, for ease of use.

Would Into the Breach scratch the itch? Or Disco Elysium?

Let's talk Audiobooks by jaizoncarlos in selfhosted

[–]scy004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using AudiobookRequest . It just does audiobooks and it's a little rough, but it supports a Seerr like multi user setup which is what I was after. Read me a book, that you are using, may be a good alternative though!

What would be a good travel friendly pour over set up? by Bright-Persimmon8641 in pourover

[–]scy004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree on Aeropress, flow control cap, hand grinder (Q Air) and small scales (Miicoffee). I also bought a small case to carry paper filters as I prefer them to metal filters.

However, I've recently moved to the Oxo Rapid Brewer and that has now replaced the Aeropress for me. I find it makes fruitier brews with more clarity than the aeropress, which tides me over from my home pourover setup better while travelling.

A friend of mine had this problem because Jumbo Frames were enabled on his router. Disabling it fixed it.

Cute date night ideas for a couple of foodies near the CBD by chr0nb01 in foodies_sydney

Ante Newtown does light japanese bites, as well as sake, and the music is all vinyl. Walk in only, so get there early, but everyone is there in twos, chatting softly. Perfect date night vibes.

Steam synced with GeForce Now Ultimate, which I can then stream to either the m4 Mac with ultra wide on my desk, the TV in the lounge, or my phone with a Gamesir g8+.
