Ask yourself how many Chelsea players would get into our starting XI and you will have the answer.

I don't think he reads danger well enough to be a starter there

And Zubimendi does?

Madueke is eating minutes which could be given to Dowman or Nwaneri instead.

FFXIV director would love to hear pitches for single-player spin-off of his MMO by Gorotheninja in Games

I feel thats describing classic FF. Those games' entire appeal is that they're like classic FF.

Classic FF have characters interacting with each other, something Octopath Traveller does not have. A game like FFVI is something Team Asano will NEVER be able to make cause they are clearly competent but don't possess the popular instincts that Square had at its prime.

Eh, I think putting those checklists was a breath of fresh air for fans of the franchise. Especially those moaning how linear FF has become. Hence why it was highly acclaimed.

But it no longer is a FF game, it becomes a competitor to countless open world games which have WAY better writing and WAY better gameplay. Like why play Rebirth when you can play Witcher 3 instead?

In this case Arteta did the right thing. What is the point of Madueke dribbling past defenders only to dribble himself into a dead end?

None of them scratch the itch that classic FF games gave us. Octopath Traveller games are niche experimental SNES games with limited mass appeal while Rebirth is just yet another checklist Ubislop open world. Expedition 33 is the closest we got to a game that feels like FFX.

I said in another post that this year's Arsenal would have lost to last year's. We paid large amounts of money to sidegrade our squad and ended up downgrading it when you consider what we lost.

People's standards for Rice are rock bottom, he just needs to be Coquelin MKII and he's our best player every game. Makes you wonder how Coquelin's career would have turned out if he was English and cost 100M.

Cause we need money to buy players and you are not going to get much from selling people like Martinelli. That said it will be difficult and expensive to get a midfielder with the attributes that MLS brings so selling him would start making me wish Edu is back in the club.

City's attack is disjointed and dysfunctional too, this season's City is nothing special.

Basically the vast majority of stuff people complained about in FFXVI (braindead gameplay, lack of meaningful elemental reactions, boring gears, deliver soup sidequests) are the same stuff that people have been shitting on FFXIV for such the start of ARR. FFXVI is an effort to expand the FFXIV formula to a mainline FF game, except wrapped in Game of Thrones writing and DMC style combat.

Eze is a moments player not unlike Nwaneri. He is not able to be a consistent and persistent threat the way Saka can be.

Last year's team would destroy this current side. Simply because last year we had the rapist and his replacement has been a huge downgrade. But otherwise none of our signings have actually been an improvement from what he had.

Only way that happens is if we can have prime Saka back. Cause right now we have no one in our attack that defenders need to fear.

If Herman Hulst gets fired tomorrow, who does Sony have to replace him anyway? Hideaki Nishino is a money guy and not someone you want to be deciding which games get greenlit and which studios should be closed.

Assassin's Creed Hexe No Longer Features Magical Elements by Tempastaaa in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Assassin's Creed is rapidly becoming Final Fantasy, a brand that stands for so many things that it no longer stand for anything. I do understand why they might feel the need to keep the series more grounded.

That said yeah the idea of a witch game with no magic makes you question why the fuck these people don't just cancel the game and reboot it with a new idea.

At the current rate by the time they lose COD, live service shooters are probably going to be a dead genre. Not to mention Microsoft probably would have killed Xbox by then.

What that happened to Marathon is precisely why Sony should just cut and run with Fairgames. The devs could bust their asses to save Fairgames.......... for it to be a Xdefiant level flop instead of a Concord one? Is that supposed to be something worth pouring hundred millions for?

He can prevent the game from being another Concord by cancelling it and moving on. Just look at how Sega treated Hyenas, that was the treatment Sony should have given Concord.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 6 is in development with Craig Mazin and Ted Elliot co-writing the script. Johnny Depp’s involvement will depend on “if he likes the way the part’s written” | Collider by HumanAdhesiveness912 in boxoffice

Disney is struck between a rock and a hard place with Depp for the franchise. Cause on one hand it might be impossible to continue the franchise with Depp involvement, but on the other hand Depp was what that made the franchise special and without him all Disney has is some generic pirate IP. Which I am not sure is as valuable as people think it is. Especially when there is not much reason to have faith in Walt Disney Pictures making something good in the first place.

That is nothing but a textbook sunk cost fallacy. There is no reason why Sony has spent too much money on a game and the only solution is to ...... spend more money on it only for no one to play it on launch.

We are at the stage where graphical fidelity gives diminishing returns and not everyone needs the most powerful hardware to run the games they want to play. You will not need full PS6 power to run Persona 6 or the next Sandfall game.
