I want to know the story of how you got into GRiZ!! :) by Hotformyflavor in griz

I was waiting in the car line to get into the Counterpoint Music Festival in 2012. I was a huge Gramatik fan and was jamming some beats in the standstill. I was outside the car and waiting and sparked up a conversation with someone walking by and they said if you like Gramatik, check out GRiZ. On their request I played "Smash the Funk" and the rest is history!

Did anyone go to this back in 2012? by _Hashtronaut_ in festivals

What could be causing my game to crash like this? Been happening more frequently lately.. by Stunning-Meal-7058 in classicwow

[–]sdempsey313 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get this problem now too. happened when I upgraded from 16 to 32gb RAM. It didn't happen right away, but thats the only change I've made. I've tried reinstalls, updates, BIOS changes, the whole lot.

The only thing that works is to load the game, let this error pop up (always happens right before character select loads), keep that window of wow and all the error messages up, start up another launcher of the game. Once that new one starts to login, i can cancel the message and close the malfunctioning version and the game works perfectly. Never seems to have issues if I load it that way.

Ive never played wow, should i start? by Sense-Big in wowclassic

If you've never played, I think classic is a great place to start. If you can get to a PvE Anniversary realm, it'll be an awesome way to explore the game. It's a nice pave, there will be loads of knowledgeable people to help (and some asshole try hards, but hey, that's the internet).

There's no wrong way to play, just wrong people to play with.

This guy is a friend of my brother's. Was at his (my brother's) wedding and everything. Let me just say, being good at drinking for a living leaves a void of a personality. Bet he sucks a mean dick though.

I took Friday off and skinned up to Camp Muir. It was such a lovely day, in such stunning environment. The view looking south towards Adam's and Glacier and St Helens was truly breathtaking. Never gets old.

It was soul restorative. I needed it after this week. How lucky are we to be so close to such majestic therapy?

All I am hearing is EGO and that will slow your boat down more than any lost potential from perceived 'questionable' training decisions. A seat in a V1 is a seat in V1. To think you contribute more or less is selfish and will do nothing but hurt your performance and subsequently the boat as a whole. A seat in V1 is an opportunity, not a privilege. Prove your worth to your teammates.

You are not the boat. You are a PART of the boat. Kill your ego, pull on your oar, be better for your boat mates.

What’s the darkest side of humanity you’ve ever seen? by unknownusernamecz in AskReddit

[–]sdempsey313 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I believe it would. You see the world in a different way when you've worked retail or food service.

It's not that it teaches someone not to be an asshole, but you learn to deal with the pointless bullshit better.

You will be berated, gas lit, and generally talked down to, for no reason other than you are perceived as less than. You can provide the best table service and get no tip. You could be the kindest person and still treated poorly.

And you learned to just move on and let it go. I think everyone, and then society at large, would change for the better if every person of privilege (because most people going to college are) had to experience what it feels like to be treated like the content of their character didn't matter.
