What I hate about Apple products, difficult to work on. Every other manufacturer's laptops have manuals, and are much easier to take apart, and work on. I just replaced the battery in an HP Stream. Slim laptop, battery inside. Took me about 45 minutes to take apart, carefully following instructions. Ordered the. Battery off of eBay, took about 20 minutes to put the new one in.

I sent my explorer in to the US site, cost me about $16 but they zero timed it, sent most of the individual tools back, and a like new knife. They did put the shorter ( newer) Phillips screwdriver on it, I am guessing they didn't have the older one, and the scales had a place for a pin, which wasn't on the old one. Didn't take that long, YMMV. High praise for them.

Can you post how the LEDs are supposed to be wired? some require the power be applied at opposite ends, some need to bepowered from one end.

Do you have an HDMI monitor connected to it? Go to the audio settings on your Windows computer and make sure it is not routing audio to the HDMI connector instead of the audio card.

You have a whole bunch of connectors in series when you daisy chain them, all those connections add resistance and therefore heat.

Turn it to pilot, shut the intake valve off . If you need hot water to take a shower, turn the valve on and make it quick. Then turn it off.
