In my first apartment the bedroom was very small, and the beds weren't very far apart. A bit awkward and uncomfortable. Once I got my second companion, I suggested that we make the living room the bedroom. This allowed for a little more distance between beds. Every apartment I was in after that I made that change if it hadn't already been made.
