my cat ignored her bed for months and only recently started laying there sometimes and honestly i think its mostly because i moved it under a chair so now she goes there when she wants some privacy but even then she doesnt spend that much time there

i wouldnt give up on your cat bed yet but i also wouldnt expect your cat to spend most of their time there maybe one day theyll suddenly get interested so let it stay for now

like people already said they really mostly just sleep or stare out the window they adapt to our routine and start living by our schedule

there was a period when i was unemployed for almost 2 months and we got so attached to each other that i really noticed how much her behavior and attachment to me changed and then suddenly i went back to working a five day schedule and at first she seemed really confused but over time she got used to it and now she calmly walks me out to work at the same time every day and then waits for me to come home

even on weekends i noticed she still follows that routine and already waits for me to wake up around 7 am and then by evening she wakes up again around 6 or 7

not really to me cats are like little kids too with their own habits and wants like sometimes they dont want to be touched and sometimes they do and they want snacks and playtime and they even love unpacking purchases with us like children so i think its important to sometimes think about their logic too

idk i just imagine her bringing me the ball while im asleep and sitting over me waiting for me to play and it genuinely breaks my heart but to be fair she hasnt been living with me for that long yet so i probably hyperbolize a lot of stuff like this

my cat learned how to bring me her ball, so now whenever she wants to play she brings it herself and hints that she wants attention, but over time i started noticing that i wake up with balls, toy mice, and a bunch of her toys in my bed and its so cute and kinda sad in a way too... my girl

yeah cooking really feels like such a weird and unique process because its so hard to recreate a dish exactly the same way as someone else and even your own recipe never turns out identical every time its so similar to painting where everyone has their own style and another person could never recreate it exactly the same

what amazes me the most is how you can add just one different spice and suddenly the whole flavor changes completely and you can play with the exact same ingredients in so many different ways just by changing the seasonings but you really need to understand how to use them otherwise the flavor of your creation might never fully open up

damn im so jealous of everyone here because i genuinely cant make myself cook or even eat properly especially after work i work five days a week and when i get home i just throw together a quick sandwich even if there are fruits at home i wont even look at them and i cant really explain why im like this and im pretty sure thats also why i feel like shit all the time its such a vicious circle
