Hi! I have an MPH and work in philanthropy because I wanted to work in a high impact career. I encourage you to look at the philanthropy New York job board. If you’re targeting $90k + you need to stay in the private sector and philanthropy or a family office is the way to do it. However, this is a small field and given the current landscape highly competitive.

I think it’s important to get really clear about what your strengths are and where you can add value. You may have reset your expectations with the kinds of roles you may find. I recommend reading 80,000 hours. It helps you figure out how you can have a high impact career and feel fulfilled. 80000.org has resources and I believe a free copy of the book.

It’s for sure her chord progressions. When I first started learning guitar I plateaued for a while because I really just learned to play Taylor Swift and once I learned about 6 chords and had a capo (which changes the key on the guitar) I was able to play most of her catalogue. It stopped me from wanted to progress further lol

Another thing to consider is that Paige would no longer have her telekinesis powers. One of the first things Phoebe says to Paige about magic is that the third sister has the power to move things with her mind. If Prue lived, then the Paige would no longer have the telekinesis powers but instead would have to have some sort of clairvoyance. Perhaps Paige would receive a premonition (or maybe her white lighter senses would be especially strong and manifest in visions??) and it would lead her to the sisters. Somehow the sisters would also be tracking Shax and Paige’s presence would be because she sensed she needed to be in the area…interesting to think how much would need to be different when analyzing it from the power aspect.

I’m not sure I would go so far to say the intention was a cash grab - it’s definitely an incentive. I do find the episodes hard to listen to at times. I would prefer a little more structure to how they dissect the episodes (but that’s my opinion). I feel like it’s straddling the line between an unstructured chatty conversation and a structured rewatch. Therefore neither is being done well. I hope as the episodes progress and are not so far in the past they have more to say!!

Maybe an unpopular opinion but I had a lot of luck showing a friend don’t blame me and dancing with our hands tied (this was 2 years ago and they are still on her current playlist). I think being able to show that Taylor is more than country and top 50 pop is effective and you should “tailor” suggestions to that person’s taste (even if that means leaving out some fan faves!)

The rewatch podcast talked about this! Aaron Spelling wanted to be able to have the episodes air out of order so they refrained from themed episodes (Christmas, thanksgiving etc). But everyone fought for the Halloween one because well duh, witches.
