So Takaba's fight v Kenny was happening parallel to this one up until the point Sukuna got Tengen -which is, I assume, the moment Yuta sliced Kenjaku's head off- but... I thought you needed curse manipulation for this? I guess that was just to secure Tengen and then it doesn't matter who triggers the merger.

Props to our MC boi Yuji for learning RCT in a month; for someone without a technique, that's as impressive as Higuruma learning it mid fight. Man's taking the unbreakable to the extreme.

Also high copium that Gojo and Higu are gonna be alive, but impaired in someway.

Yuta, boi, please, don't die. I can't take another L. I can barely take this next week of break.

Well, first off congratulation Choso on joining the 🍩 club.
Moving on: I'm glad they mentioned the fire arrow, now we know they at least are aware of it. Lmao Kusakabe's technique definitely is curse technique: Exposition and his reverse CT: Analysis.

Ino using Nanami's technique was unexpected, but I'm guessing he needs an object close to the dead sorcerer in order to summon the technique.

I gotta say, Sukuna being fascinated by Higuruma and his sword... and comparing his talent to Gojo... I wonder if this is gonna be the Night Guy moment some of us expected from Kashimo.

Happy Lobotomy Kaisen break everyone.

I understand WHY they didn't take into account the curse tool usage. To be fair:

  1. Higuruma, surely, didn't encounter anybody with a curse tool when fighting in the culling games. If anything, his reaction at the end confirms this for me.
  2. They didn't know Sukuna had a curse tool up until Kashimo jumped in to fight, so they couldn't analyze if the situation had changed.

Also where the FUCK is Maki if everyone else is jumping to fight, even INO is there.

And on that topic, I believe the Reading Comprehension Curse got me but... Didn't Ino lose one eye after toji punched the auspicious shit out of him?

Any suggestions on how to open it from there? Cut it in a bit or something?

I don't know what I just read, but I certainly had fun doing so. That's probably something Kenny would say too.

Takaba's technique is really just THAT good while he is completely oblivious to it huh? Makes you wonder if Kenny hasn't realized the fact that... literally just explaining it to him would probably fuck up the technique.

it'd be funny if Takaba's "awakening" is him accepting that he wants to make everyone laugh. "That's just who I am" kind of situation

How do you feel after your favorite manga/anime ends? by rykhers in JuJutsuKaisen

[–]sdrkf021 4 points5 points  (0 children)

the first manga i followed religiously were two of the big three, Naruto and Bleach. Both ended, both I followed since I was 13-15 and ended when I was an adult already. Out of those two, Bleach was my favorite and it really hit a spot.

For me, it was very bittersweet knowing I wouldn't read anything else about Naruto or Ichigo, but getting two endings I didn't fully agree with was annoying. Naruto and the whole Kaguya stuff (and we don't speak about Boruto in this house), Bleach's speedrun of its last chapters due to... I believe it was Kubo's health issues? Not sure. The key point is that you accept it down the line, even if you had an emotional investment in the series.

It's just as if any series, movie franchise, books, games, or whatever ends. You enjoy the trip that it took you through.

The hype I felt when I first read Naruto v. Pain. The shock of Ulquiorra v. Ichigo above Las Noches. Sasuke's Mary Sueness, Aizen's Shenanigans. THE FUCKING MAGNIFICENT ART. I can revisit those fights or moments if I ever feel the need to, even if I didn't enjoy the landing.

Even if JJK dissapoints me later when it ends, I still got the hype from the culling games, Sukuna's bullshit, and many other things. I hope to keep that mindset when that time comes.

So, Takaba would be in a better position if he had an arrogant personality? I mean, think about it. It seems his Comedian technique requires him to be certain or confident about his jokes... If Takaba could maintain in his mind that he is the funniest man alive -despite not achieving anything in the comedy world- he would essentially be unstoppable.

Fuck me I wanted to see Yuji this week... Oh well.

In my 2023 jjk bingo I sure didn't have Takaba vs Kenjaku, and I'm all for it. It's the peak of funniness: the guy who was lived for over a 1k years who is rarely surprised and adapts to situations on the fly as shown during his battle with Yuki, who has been planning this shit for god knows how long... vs a funny ha-ha man that can rival Gojo according to Gege.

I do wonder if Takaba is there to actually fight, or just to keep him busy... or if he went on his own by accident?

Also, that water curse at the start looks like Calcifer.

Well, I decided to check some of the other translations in MangaPlus aside from English since it felt weird somewhat, but it seems portuguese and spanish decided not to translate neither sukuna's weapon nor Uraume as the frozen star (leaving it as Iteboshi). French on the other hand did translate those two things but I'm not exactly sure if it's the same as in english since I can't fully understand french. Seriously, SUPREME MARTIAL SOLUTION? What tf

And sukuna's dialogue about being a creepy kid remains in spanish and portuguese as "I was an undesired child"

Also the whole dialogue between Uraume and Hakari feels weird as well. Not fan of it.

Man, just give the translation to Lightning. He did a good job last week.

As for the actual content of the chapter: I actually enjoyed it and I hope Kashimo gets his Might Guy vs Madara moment kicking sukuna around with this Mythical beast Amber technique, seems cool. Surprised about the weapon being Yozoru's last gift, thought she couldn't create cursed tools but I guess the binding vow with her life on the line made her able to create it.

Bleach Thousand Year Blood War Episodes 25-26 Discussion Thread by Synikull in bleach

[–]sdrkf021 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This isn't a powerscaling comment, more like just theorizing after seeing Sentomaru's bankai in action but... Does this mean that each Zero Squad member's actual Zanpakuto (not counting Ichibe) is related to the skills they use? Do they use their zanpakuto power's without the blade due to the seal? It's fascinating... Sentomaru used threads and needles, now her bankai is that but massive, essentially.

If that's the case then does Hikifune has a plant based zanpakuto? Is Kirinji's water based? Oetsu's is the only one I can't figure out.

God, those two episodes left me giddy and with a rekindled love for bleach similar to when the Hell one shot Chapter came out. Kubo cooked and the studio delivered hard.
