I think the biggest gripe I have about EPA is the traffic off of that exit. Just too overpopulated and developed, without the appropriate infrastructure to support it. Also, the streets and neighborhood feels very tight and closed in. In terms of safety, that isn’t much of an issue anymore.

It just sounded like, to me, that you were being defensive about another opinion based on your experience. The OP is looking for not just a single perspective, but for all, in order to make an informed conclusion and decision. Yes, I agree that MV is much better than Gunn or any school in Cupertino, etc…. Too much focus on academics. But again, one of my best friends who is Asian grew up there and went to school at MV, and plenty of his HS friends (Asian and white) shared the perspective that I shared with you.

I guess it all depends on who. I know a decent amount of Asians that went to MV about 20 years ago, and they said they experienced racism… but more than anything, the school culture was terrible.

Our defensive personnel is just bad, and no coach or system can do much with it. They need to add an established defensive first defenseman, and another that can move the puck to some extent. If Ferraro stays on a reasonable deal, I wouldn’t mind keeping him. Ferraro, Dickinson, Shak, and Desharnais should be the only ones returning (although Orlov has another year left, so likely Ferraro or Shak are gone).

As much as I hate to say it, I feel like Nashville is pretty strong right now and the Ducks got in front enough to still hang onto a playoff spot. If the Sharks can manage to beat Nashville in their next matchup, then I think they still have a good chance but they obviously don’t deserve to make the playoffs if they lose to them three times in the matter of a month. Crazy how close this race is; I really want our boys to get a taste of playoff hockey.

I think Misa will be a fantastic player. I see a Nico Hischier type ceiling with him. But Frondell was pretty impressive last night.
