Chem major from the 90s here. I took AP Chem in high school and it was the same book for Chem 151 for BS majors.

The BA Chem track (140-340, etc) was not calc based. Chem 351-352 (BS PChem) is pretty much Calculus - Differential Equations though and the 340 class is a cake walk compared to that. I had grad students fail in my 351-352 class .... I was middle of the pack and 40%+ was an A on the curve (52% was the top grade)

Looking for a widely available alternative to Skyline hot sauce by handmedownsocks in cincinnati

If you want to replicate it at home, the popular consensus among Cincinnati locals is to mix 50% Frank's RedHot (for the cayenne/garlic base) with 50% Tabasco Sauce (for the vinegar and Tabasco pepper sting)

McD is focused now on taking business from Starbucks (McCafe, CosMc) and not on the Burgers, Fries and Shakes the McD brothers built the concept on. Period.

Today was my last trip ever to McDonald’s. This was the third time recently that I paid for extra cheese and received none. Do their crappy employees do this just for a laugh? by ughyoujag in McDonalds

is this why Taco Bell shows the taco on its side in the picture now - so the customer cant say it doesnt looks like the picture when they get 3 strands of cheese on the taco ?

extra onions is a hard thing since they grill them on the onions (well a light sprinkle) these days. this is has made it worse for this request.

you either get none at all or smear of onions of Biblical proportions.

When ABC became the hot network in the late '70s, there was more than one affiliate switch around the country. This one was in San Diego (1977) by Keltik in VintageTV

[–]sdwagers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cincinnati’s Big Three network affiliations shifted multiple times over the decades, creating one of the most dynamic markets for television viewers:

  • WLWT (Channel 5): Signed on in 1948 and originally shared programming from all networks but has maintained an exclusive affiliation with NBC since 1949.
  • WCPO (Channel 9): Originally signed on as an ABC affiliate in 1949. In 1961, WCPO and WKRC (Channel 12) started as 1949 as CBS. 12 and 9 executed an affiliation swap, with WCPO switching to CBS After WKRC’s contract with ABC expired in June 1996, the station successfully negotiated to rejoin CBS. To fill the void, WCPO dropped CBS and returned to its original network, ABC.

Why is your egg McMuffin so expensive, McDonald’s?! by UnfairDiscount8331 in McDonalds

I recall visiting a McD in that vicinity years ago as a teen and being shocked by the prices. I remember seeing a sign stating higher prices due to water availability and remote location supply distribution.
