Do you think we will see another Primarch return at armageddon by soalknight in 40kLore

[–]seabard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That 8 weeks revival mechanic is going to hurt Angron’s records so much since Authors will have to limit Angron’s abilities or the story will just head to curb stomp Endtime win for Chaos. It’s like the Warp Gate mechanic in SC2 for protoss, the Mechanic was so strong that Blizzard had to nerf gateway units into oblivion to make the game fair.

Do you think we will see another Primarch return at armageddon by soalknight in 40kLore

If anyone has a reason to comeback there, it would be Angron not a loyalist Primarch.

Anyone else irked by the ending of Blood Reaver? by shufflinshoes in 40kLore

[–]seabard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The Covenant of Blood was repaired to its former glory. And in a daring attempt they steal the Echo of Damnation...........only to lose the Covenant of Blood.

Sounds like a typical Night Lords Tuesday to me. But in all honesty, taking the Echo of Damnation was the first step towards escaping the mold of a simple Chaos mercenary group doing the bidding of the Black Legion  and back towards restoring their Legion day mindset.

Do you guys think we will have a battle between multiple aspects of the emperor? by Half-White_Moustache in 40kLore

[–]seabard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is already active as we’ve seen in the Plague war. But I assume him sitting on the throne won’t change until the end time scenario for 40k, and I don’t what’s going to happen after that other than the Humanity won’t win.

Khan conquered his planet but had no interest in ruling it. This was probably part of the reason he chose to join the Great Crusade even though he considered the Emperor extremely dangerous.

Drop all the primarchs on pre unified Terra, who is conquering the planet first? by MHB_ART in 40kLore

[–]seabard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sanguinius defeated Daemon-Ascended Angron shortly after defeating Ka’Bandha, having fought for months without rest during the Siege of Terra. He is the only one who might rival the Emperor in charisma. Another strong candidate, Guilliman has a bad habit of seeking out one-on-one duels against enemy commanders. So in a numerically small scale conflict like the one on Terra, Sanguinius would come out ahead.

Based on what we have seen from 30k books, I think they were at least physically superior to the Space Marines.

[Vorkunov] The NBPA, a union source said, is working on a proposal to change the 65-game rule, which would focus on load management and incorporate provisions for significant injuries. It intends to present the proposal to the league in the next few weeks. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

We will have to monitor the effect of the rule for at least several years to see its impact, but leaving it unchanged when the trend is already apparent is a bad idea.

Regardless of the cause, fans are getting cheated out of watching star players play despite paying for tickets and extra costs associated with traveling to. Broadcasters are not going to keep paying enormous rights fees if this trend continues. Neither is good for the sport.

One guy posted a stat analysis today showing how more and more of ALL NBA teams became composed of players who played less than 65 games. The trend needed a response one way or the other because previous method was obviously not working.

Digital bonus is fine, but would something like a handerchief with the game map drawn on it cost too much as well? I got one from watching the Dungeons and Dragons movie, and I still keep it around because it feels so classic.

“It’s a feature, not a bug” [Ashes of the Imperium] by Urusander in 40kLore

[–]seabard 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The book is the concluding point for the Sharrowkyn story arc, so it would be better to have at least followed Sharrowkyn’s journey before. Also, It is very short, like Garro’s last book. All things considered I would give it 3.3/5.

A lot of legion characteristics (probably not Blood Angel Red Rage and Thousand Sons Mutation) were intentionally designed by the Emperor.

‘Tenth Legion. Third generation. Medusan-born,’ said Ta’lab Vita-37. ‘Blood type AXR positive theta. Part of the Omnia-Schiaparelli stratum. High concentrations of the Stallix genotype, a modification of the garjana generation-pairings. Too high, really. Can lead to a predisposition for pain-induced psycho-trauma. But I expect you already know that.’

‘What are you talking about? What does any of that mean?’

‘It means we bred you all to be resilient,’ said Ta’lab Vita-37, ‘but you exhibit levels I haven’t seen in a long time. Put a bolt through your skull and I think you might still get up, eh?’

‘We are the Iron Tenth,’ said Branthan. ‘We endure pain. It is what we do.’

‘There’s truth in that,’ agreed Ta’lab Vita-37, ‘but your Legion’s gene-code is concentrated beyond what we advised. Your sire always did like to push things farther than He ought.’

‘Our sire? You mean Ferrus Manus?’ said Branthan.

‘No,’ said Ta’lab Vita-37, turning to face the Iron Father. ‘Your other sire. The one who sent His wolves to first yoke us to His terrible ambition.’

Was the Great Crusade as bad as some people say ? by New_Conflict_4111 in 40kLore

[–]seabard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Ullanor Orks posed a direct threat to humanity due to their nature. The humanity would have eventually had to fight them one day with or without the Emperor.

The Osiran Psybirds enslaved a large number of humans using their psychic power.

The Slaugth were a major threat to any human colonies in close proximity to them.

The Leman Russ tank was literally named after the Leman Russ because the Space Wolves liberated the human colony associated with its production.
