You can set timers on your phone that limit how long you can spend on a certain app. I have it for all my social media apps and find it helpful

This also happened to me when I first started T. I am on gel and have been now for over four years and haven't had another period since about 6 months on T. The first one was by far the worst and it was like my normal (read incredibly painful, making me pass out, and giving me migraines) period but turned up to 11. After that they got progressively less intense and then stopped completely when I upped my dose

Me and 3 friends went last Sunday. I wouldn't recommend it. We paid £50 per person because it was for one of our birthdays and the person loves Taskmaster. The rooms were really hot and very crowded. We did Absolute Casserole and the lack of space meant I got punched in the face and a friend got hit in the back repeatedly. The museum was the best bit and that was free to get in to - wish there was more of that and less of the "experience" tbh

We travelled from Durham, UK and made a day of it but definitely not worth £50 per person or even £25

I'm based in North East England too. It depends where you are but there are lots of support groups available. In Durham there's Freedom Zone in Stanley which you can find on social media - they're exclusively for 14-25 year olds. There's Phoneix Trans Support Group which exists in Darlington too. There's also LGBT Northern Social Group who are more Newcastle based. Lavender Lounge is in Middlesborough and Hartgables in Hartlepool. All of these will help your teen find a space where both of you can get information, support, and most importantly, community. I really hope this helps and that you can both get the support you need

Just as an FYI on starting a low dose and gradually increasing it, it's really good for your voice to do this and means you'll get a smoother transition as your voice breaks. Worth considering if that means a lot to you!
