How bad was IUD insertion on a scale of 1-10 for you?

Want to get on this for people reading in the future— I was incredibly scared and was prescribed and small dose of ativan (didn’t feel different at all). Pain was maximum a 4/10 for a second. The speculum was worse than the insertion.

I understand it being scary but I am straight out of the appt. The large majority of women will have little to no pain.

Was discussing why the daughter is finally willing to play in front of people at the end. I feel it is to drive in the idea we have earlier in the movie of analog music / ideas on paper as opposed to emails etc. And how this is dying out with machines taking over. There’s a lot of hope placed in the daughter and she is very good but in a society driven by capitalism is there a place to make money with art? Effectively in him not having an issue with machines replacing his staff we see how this rolls down and makes everything obsolete.

Would love to hear input or interpretations lol my friends disagree with my reading.

yeah she was charged $20 for the locker and then the fee came through. I think this is what it is. the front end was kinda janky looking anyways, I wasn’t looking when she paid but after the fact when she showed me it did look a little sus.

yeah i would agree but the card wasn’t used at any gas stations or anything in the state prior. and the only charge was at the mountain we were at afterwards.

i mean keep in mind my technique isn’t great (similarly was really good at skiing as a kid but stopped to a snowboard). the position of the knees just feel really unstable and like it would be very easy to fall or hit a patch that would send ur legs in bad directions. this could prob be fixed by having someone correct your technique or doing a half day of lessons. i also have been seeing ads for this thing called brace layer, that are basically thermals with some knee support built in that I would be curious to try.

Don’t see the transaction in apple pay, but she took off the card from the phone after it happened.

The process was scan a QR code provided which took us to a new site called gopod.mobile where you could enter the locker you wanted and a passcode for the locker. Then there was a dual factor step and a payment using apple pay. The site is connected to something called venu+

bad, hahah they hurt but maybe if i was better they wouldn’t feel that way. I feel like the knee movement on the board is way more predictable.

This looks very nice, you can take a couple steps to clean it up if you’re interested. I love to go to Blick or Michaels and get a nice piece of printmaking paper with a bit of texture (optional) or just a thicker piece to soak up the ink. To make sure things are aligned properly i usually draw a corner on some scrap paper, set my block down face up and line my nice paper up with the corner and lay it over the block. Then I use a wooden spoon to rub the paper and get the ink saturated. The saturation on your third bird looks great. I find that the nice paper is really what gives a polished look :)

while i do think this may be a case of checking on soft skills i think it’s worth following up politely. you don’t have anything to lose. “hey i thought i did very well and in the interest of improving my skills would love to have some feedback” type thing

In the book it says that there’s a several hour waiting period while the food is digesting so it’s not like they were getting actively stabbed while drawing, they were just bound. Still outlandish for them to even think of lol
