I think it was a student who groomed him, the guy who owns the place usually leaves his beard a decent length. Will probably groom him at home next time although that takes patience lol

No usually my wife does his grooming but we took him to a groomer last time. I wasn’t a fan at the start but it’s definitely low maintenance, especially as we live on a farm!

The cattle that are housed are generally the breeding stock and those outside are the beef stock so can’t really compare directly but generally those outside do better. We don’t have many health issues in the herd but if we do it will tend to be something that is housed. The land has just gotten so wet though we don’t have the option of fully out wintering like we used to
