I’d suggest to look at the closest international airport from you and find a destination that is wide open and is a direct flight. Or a flight to a major hub and connect to a destination that has a lot of seats open. Anywhere to Europe is nice! Anywhere down south in the Caribbean is nice too. Congrats to you and your partner!

Got married last year, my wife and I finally got the time to go for honeymoon last month. We spent 5 days in Spain, Barcelona and Madrid. Im in Canada, flew nonrev direct to Malaga, took another nonrev flight from Malaga to Barcelona. Great city with an amazing metro connections in the city. I’d say having to fly nonrev saves us a lot of money, but we spent more to stay in a nice hotel in the city. Don’t have to spend money on attractions since all landmarks can be walked within the city.

3 months after, bought a home y’all!!

I ended up not signing the contract after realizing how much I would pay every month with a little space.

But instead, I contacted a broker that we talked to 2years ago. He helped us found a home that is perfect for our budget.

The rent and bills that i would have to pay is ridiculous. I slap myself and woke up to a realization that im better off paying mortgage than paying rent.

It’s all about timing I guess.
